JD is a quitter. We knew this.

He has no chest and doesn’t even seem to have the heart.

Wingo was excellent and Guillory and Jefferson made plays. Very encouraging.
99 looked good. But they definitely all got gassed. When FSU went up 7 after half they absolutely destroyed our D line the next drive

They quit. Go back and watch the play that JD threw the interception. I think the wr was Nabors on the play( I think bc I mostly quit watching at that point). Anyways the WR just sat there, he never got up and chased after the DB. Luckily, the guys knee was down when he intercepted it.

I know they were exhausted, etc and maybe it’s a sign of the times but the last 4th quarter or so they quit, they were going through the motions, etc.

They at least fought the whole game against Georgia. Quitting is a bad habit, it’s like the rubicon, once you cross it then it’s too late.

A great player or team never even thinks about it. Joe Burrow doesn’t even know what it means.

It’s a bad sign. Any decent sports reporter should ask about this with a question tomorrow.

ESPECIALLY being game one of the season. A brand new fresh season in which you worked your arse off all off season thinking about what happened last season at the end and how you want to change things this year. Fresh body, fresh mind, absolutely no excuse to warrant quitting like that. If anything, it should have been making mistakes due to pressing rather than being lackadaisical and giving up huge downs like they were in the 2nd half.

The offense. The defense. Special teams. Coaching staff. I think I included everyone.

I am old and I wasn’t a great player but I never ever quit or my coach and my dad would have kicked my arse.

I got pissed off when we were getting our arse kicked and played harder so I wouldn’t get picked out in the film room as one of reasons we lost.

Maybe players now are different but I bet they don’t quit on Saban like that

Couldn’t agree more… and JD in particular never seems bothered when he’s getting his arse kicked. He’s got that shite eating grin like he just “goofed”. But these are the days of NIL… the non talented folks just care about celebrity/money/and internet clout. This team is dead with JD.

Yeah...Take a look at Major Burns #8 defense late in the game and tell me he didn't lay down. His arse should be sitting the bench until he DOES give a s hit

Yes. This is the biggest concern. I think something is going on in the locker room

They got out schemes and the coaches let the players down more than anything.

Atrocious playcalling in the red zone, horrid 3rd down defensive calls, and misuse of players. Add in Daniels inability to throw it deep and you end up with the reach feeling left out to dry.

House made almost no adjustments in the second half and had a horrible blitzing scheme. They knew when and where it was coming from every play. He then rushed 3 on multiple 3rd and kings and got burned.

Denbrock wasn’t much better with very predictable playcalling and making no adjustments to help out the running backs.

Throw in Daniels refusing to pass it deep and then continually tucking and running before the pocket even collapsed and that’s what you get.

Players quitting on the game.
