Does Anyone Trust the $EC to Fairly Officiate LSU Games?

The REAL story of the last week in college football (that is being swept under the rug with all the faux LSU outrage) is that conference officials are completely in the bag for their conferences. Does anyone really expect a vindictive organization like the $EC to NOT take this out on the field?

Do look to having a lot of 11:00 kickoffs.

ESPN controls this...not the SEC.

Did you trust them beforehand? I, for one, did not.

I expect refs to consistently frick up because that’s what they do and that’ll spawn a lot of “the fix is in” comments. Ultimately refs suck at their jobs and any screw job against LSU is the result of that, not an agenda. Maybe just me, though.

“Unsportsmanlike conduct, number 7 on the defense did not allow the offense to at least reach the line of scrimmage”

That may be. Careful they are not too obvious.

ON numerous occasions the past few years...there was some pretty blatant "unfair" officiating.

Gotta pull a Coach Yoast and leave no doubt.

We'll be on probation for something within 2 years. SEC is not going to forgive and forget.

How many times have we been fricked by SEC officiating?

At least we got to point and laugh. Shitty officiating was a given.

Nothing changes. Same as always. The point is moot!

Serious question: How do we fix that? Where do we find a better product?

No, to the thread question, but I’ve never trusted the SEC not to be crooked with officiating. Have you watched many LSU-Bama football games in the last 50 years or more?

We have been watching the SEC blatantly fix games for years (not just LSU games).

Why would they stop now?
