re: Does anyone still believe that Jeremy Hill is/was a better back than Fournette?

Stop comparing him to Hill, they are two completely different runners. They contribute just as much to the team except Fournette is more talented.

A little different type or backs. Hill has a little better vision and I think is a tad shiftier; where Fournette is more explosive, is more aggressive and has a greater top end speed.
Both are damn good though.

They are both fast. I think once LF learns to avoid contact and only welcome it when necessary we will see his speed and elusiveness. Whether that's in college or the NFL is what remains to be seen. I agree with you and Les though, his vision is not on Hills level. But what he lacks in vision he makes up with brute leg strength.
As we seen with TR (no comparison) LF will have to work on his vision, as holes in the NFL close up quick. In college, I don't see it as a problem though.

which meant fewer carries for everyone and les wasn't feeding hill like he is doing to LF7. i like les feeding a primary back finally, but hill didn't get the same sort of workload (and not because he couldn't handle it)

i'm curious to see what LF does, body-wise, next year. i think he could still stand to lose some weight to get down to 217-220 or so
i think the explosiveness and speed he gains will more than make up for some of that power he loses. i get that his bam-pow-splat runs get the fanbase riled up, but avoiding contact and getting more yards > engaging in contact (both for team goals and his career lifespan). let williams run into defenders
as adrian peterson has shown, you can be plenty powerful running around 217-220 as long as you have a strong base and run mean

I agree with you and I believe the standard for NFL power rb's is 220. With the amount of time he has between now and the NFL he has the opportunity to work on speed and keep power.

I think LF is on his way to being the best RB in school history, but let's not slight J Hill. He was an absolute monster at LSU and is representing us well in the NFL. Pretty amazing that we had two top 5 RBs in school history in consecutive years

Look u mad that he didon't go to Rummel still? You always givin those comments or backhanded compliments. He has made all the right cuts and plays this year get over it

jeremy hill is the standard and we will see how fournette's stats line up. hill is severely underrated by many fourtards on this board
Buga is the gold standard going forward baw

Boom! A month ago Lester Earl and others could argue that Hill was as good as Fournette even though it was obviously untrue. Six games into the season that argument elicits embarrassed laughter as the listener tries to discern if it was a joke.

No. LF is on another level.

No. This is not a slight on Hill at all. He is a great back and will be a solid back for years to come in the league.. Fournette is simply better, period

Lester earl and sfp look dumber than a PJ prediction in this thread. I don't know if I have ever saw so much stupidity
