Stop the DISGUISED hatred.
The first peole to have responsibility in this Aranda and Canada, I am hopefull that they (all 3) have gotten an "ego" check and work as a team.

Only time will tell, but yes, I think it can be turned around.... seen other programs w less talent do it.

However, with our competition, we may have to look at quaity of consistent play before it shows up in WINS.

As I always said it depends on recruiting, Orgeron or any other coach.

can I add development to your list ?

We will have a pretty experienced team by next year and in a couple of more weeks ... improvement, to the disatisfaction of many, is coming

And you're still falling for this bullshite. Coach O only cares about coach O. You're an idiot if you don't see it.

I don't have much faith, but I'll be pleasantly surprised if he does.

Orgeron has made it abundantly clear in the past he has no love for LSU

This was nothing more than attempt to salvage his reputation, and he has crashed and burned again.

nope

remember, Miles was fired because he could no longer beat Alabama and win the SEC. His final daggers were stabbed in when Ole Miss beat Bama a couple times, and Auburn won the West... there were grumblings of "see, Saban's not invincible. If they can do it, we can do it too, and we're not".

So, "turning it around" means getting back to the top of the SEC. Not just winning a couple games.

I don't believe O can win more than 1-2 respectable games, let alone establish LSU back as the #1 team in the West.

You may not like it, but I 'm willing to give him a chance. Come on, its 5 games into the season and the team has had injuries in all the places it was thinnest. plus breaking in a new offense that was totally different than the team ran before. 3 years is the time to judge a new staff. He knows where he needs to fill gaps, the staff can recruit and, hopefully, get tougher. Everybody in the SEC this year has big problems, except Bama, so LSU has a chance in every game and many be the pick in a couple. I m behind them.

I just realized everyone in this thread, including myself was talking about the wrong team.

Oregon is about where they should be.

Recruiting is important of course. But you need a coach that can do more than recruit. This still doesn't seem to be sinking in for some of you.

Otherwise you don't have a good HC, you just have a coach that possesses a singular quality of a good head coach.

I think he can. Not saying he will. But I think he can.

I also don't have catastrophe syndrome like many of you.

I do. I still believe in Coach Oaux et al. Most of all I believe in this team. These are fine young men, and have represented the program well. I believe we will see a dynamic and invigorated LSU football team this Saturday.

Okay here goes.....

Tigahs - 24

Gators - 13

The defense will rise to the occasion and play inspired football.
