I know. The post that I was directly responding to literally quoted him saying this:

Money is going to be the last thing I’m thinking about
You think I was just pulling that out of thin air?

OK, and your actual post said this:
quote:
If you believe that money is that last thing on his mind I’ve got some news for you...
EDIT: Y'all think the #1 recruit in the country just doesn't care about money?
So you’re saying we aren’t actually talking about what people believe? Your actual point was that there are, in fact, some things Underwood cares about less than money?
Well in that case..

After this year...some Michigan alum is gonna open up his wallet and Gordon won't be able to match him.

When is Hilton coming back? Didn't you say it would be the Ole Miss game?

Y
The guy had Oregon, Ohio St, and Texas, and chose LSU. LSU isn't pushing out the crazy amounts of money they are, and he has never wavered.

quote:This is how news gets twisted. Yall combine 2 different things and two different people, and it becomes one story. The Barstool guy was talking about offering a TRANSFER PORTAL PLAYER! Some other chode was talking about adding a mill on top to get Bryce.
Dave Portnoy at Barstool Sports was publicly offering him $3M to go to Michigan
The Portnoy guy understands that they need a ready made QB because Michigan has absolutely no idea how to develop one. The other idiot thought just getting a 5 star high school guy would solve their problem.

Not sure how accurate this is, but there are only 24 CFB players making 7 figures. Nuss ranks #10. Colorado is not getting their money's worth.
1. That's not how much money they are getting. It's an evaulation based on their social media and other factors.
2. Not even a 10th of their money comes from Colorado. Colorado had trouble trying to pay Deion.
3. These guys have endorsement deals out the ahole, and Travis Hunter has a youtube channel that at this point (haven't looked in a while), has to be over 500k subscribers.

Michigan isn't a town of 1000 people. Just because you live there doesn't mean you'd know that.

Probably both. He is 100% getting "instant gratification" money well. And if you don't believe that to be true, I just think you are naive. Yeah, there are probably schools offering him more money. That doesn't mean that money is the last thing on his mind.

I'm sure it's a lot, but I think for Underwood it's more about making it to the NFL. All you have to do is look at Burrow and Daniels - both top 2 picks - and Nuss is about to go in the first round also.
Also, LSU has an established HC in Kelly and Michigan has a new coach that has been less than stellar. On top of that, look at all the talent he will be surrounded by and there really is no comparison.

At the top of my head outside, they’re promising a chance to win the Heisman international championship

Big difference between not caring, and it not being his main focus.
I am quite sure he is getting plenty. He has said more than once his main thing was getting developed to go to the NFL

I seriously doubt Portnoy is laying 3 million down to give to a high schooler
He’s a rich Michigan alum. He’s got a lot of money. He wants his slma mater to succed.. It’s going on all over the country. Why wouldn’t he?

It has to be pretty big if LSU was able to beat out Oregon, OSU and Texas
I have been saying this all along. LSU is not stupid. They have built this 25 class around Underwood and will probably do whatever it takes to keep it together. Notice that he was one of the first commits in this class so I am sure he has been involved in recruiting it. So, I have to believe that both LSU and BU have partnership in this project and will not let money stand in the way.
There are many position guys out there with their hand out that LSU has said no thanks to. BU on the otherhand is worth the commitment of 5-10 key players and hence worth the investment.
