It would be way worse than that.
Woodson was a generational talent that changed games in multiple ways for a National Championship team.
Burrow is going to shatter records in one of the best passing seasons in history for a team in the CFP that played against an extremely challenging schedule.
And he would likely lose it to another QB????
I can’t even think of a comparison for how bad of a rip-off it would be.

Who does he lose it to? Tua was the closest and he is now out for the season. The Heisman has never gone to someone who has missed significant playing time.
Justin Fields would be my guess as the closest, and he won't be close when the final votes are tallied.
This is Joe's to lose and he won't against Arkansas and A&M.

I think Fields is closer than he should be, but Joe would have to throw at least 12 interceptions the next few games not to walk out of NYC with it.

I am going to be real upset if Fields steals it:
A) His numbers are not close to Joe's
B) He may have some decently big games coming up, but they will not match what Joe has accomplished
C) Joe's completion % if it holds is not only the best ever, but its statistically insane
D) A lot of his stats are from actually throwing the ball downfield > 10yds which is relatively unheard of at the level of success he has seen.
Basically if Joe doesnt win it is the biggest hack job we have seen in a long while.
