Does anyone believe that they have the traffic problems worked out?

Keep hearing reports that they have confidence in their new plan, but I am skeptical.

It’s been a shite show after games for 15 years plus, i highly doubt anything they do will be successful

I don’t believe they found the magic answer in one week.

They’ve been fricking this up for so long that I don’t even know what success would look like..

But last week was a monumental failure for before and after

Post game traffic is simply FUBAR. There is no solution. X amount of traffic in Y amount of exit routes. Increased length of traffic flow increases resistance to flow. Solution are reduction in traffic, widen exit routes or shorten exit routes. None of which will happen.

I’m confident traffic lights running as normal are a better solution than the current plan.

They have been screwing it up for the last 20 years and you think they were able to fix it in one week? They failed massively last week, regardless of what happens today. Last week solidified it for me. My parking pass and season tickets will be available for some corporation to purchase next year.

I have confidence that it will be better. But it will never be "solved".

Cops I saw last week were standing in the intersection watching people almost hit others and got mad at a guy filming the cops doing nothing but laughing at the cars

There is a solution, but they might not have enough man power to implement it. Every thoroughfare heading towards campus should be blocked or contraflow away from campus from halftime until 2 hours after the game. If you live in the area, you know there are 7 Saturdays per year that you can't be on the road for a 4 hour window. And all traffic signals should be shut down with police directing traffic during that time.

The mayor is going to tell BR residents to shelter in place for the three hour window after the game ends.
