some of you are stupid as shite and have no clue. Im sure it had nothing to do with the lack of discipline under O after 2019. Im sure it had nothing to do with O suddenly not backing up TM on things and letting TM hold people accountable
Our S&C was getting complained about back when Miles was coach. Discipline under Coach O wasn't the reason. We were a step back from the dynasty going on to the east and it wasn't getting better. It was getting worse.

I think his firing and subsequent hiring at A&M absolutely lit a fire under his arse.

When you have a HC not holding players accountable on the field, in the classroom, and especially adhering to their specific tailor-made S & C routines, then you will see a drop off. Orgeron was a players coach. He let players on the field that weren't putting in the work off of it. That's not on TM. The A & M game showed TM's work. It also showed that of year 4 under Jake Flint's work.

No, I remember coach o sleeping around and losing control of program.
No one from the outside can seriously look at a game and say this is the strength and conditioning coaches fault.

Moffitt was dogshite prior to Kelly firing him, A&M rejuvenated his career.

If that was the criteria, every S&C coordinator in the country except Bama's should have been fired.

We were mad, but when everything is falling apart, anyone and everyone will be blamed (see our current staff).
Maybe he is having a second wind of motivation as well. Who knows.

Two things can be true. Moffitt was burnt out or his message was no longer hitting his last few years and it showed on the field. It is also true that he seems to have reinvented himself and has proven to be very successful and impactful with that roster over at A&M the last few seasons.
A lot of this is overblown or revisionist history but if the next Coach wants to bring him back I am not opposed.

He had lost his passion and getting fired and getting a new job at aTm brought it back. He was a good coach.

Considering how much he did for LSU prior to that, I think it might have made more sense to coach him up and get him back to performing rather than firing him
But I get why the decision was made. Was still the wrong one. Hindsight is 20/20

Screw him. Aggy didn't win because of him.
