Burrow should have gone to a contender. But tripped with Cincy.

Statues are tacky. Just don't.

Neither of them have more hardware than Joe.

Dylan Crews is possibly the most decorated athlete in LSU history

Golden Spikes winner
2x SEC POY
3x AA (twice consensus 1st team selection)
2x SEC all-defensive team
College gold glove winner
National Freshman of the Year
National Champion
CWS All-tournament team
SEC Male athlete of the year

He 10000% has more hardware than Joe Burrow as a college athlete. It's honestly not close. Joe won a bunch of award in one season. Dylan Crews picked up nationally recognized hardware every year he was at LSU. He won baseball's Heisman, and he got a national title.

As dominate and great our baseball program is, there should be a walk of fame around the stadium in whatever form that would look like lined with significant former LSU baseball players. Especially with players who led LSU to 8 national championships. Obviously it starts with Skip who already had a great statue.

Admittedly, I undercounted Crews’ hardware, but it’s most definitely close.

Statues at LSU shouldn't be built based on what someone does in their professional career. Skenes is the best I've seen pitch at LSU. He's obviously the best pitcher in MLB, and short of some tragic event, he will be in the MLB Hall of Fame one day. I will be a fan of his for as long as I live, but he was here for 1 year. Downvote away, but the statues need to be very limited, and they should be reserved for people who have contributed over the course of multiple years.

Joe Burrow is the undisputed GOAT of LSU athletics.

Skenes is certainly deserving of any accolades that come his way in respect to baseball.

It depends on your criteria. If you think that equal performances in different sports favor the more popular sportsman then sure. But Skenes was/is a better baseball player than Burrow is a football player.

Also, it’s a very close race between Daniels and Burrow in football. Burrow’s national championship is what makes it close. Without that it would clearly be Daniels.

Guess yall have never looked up crews or Skenes accolades then.
Dylan crews was national freshman of the year, 2x sec player of the year, golden spikes award winner, 3x all American, sec male athlete of the year. National champion….. that trumps burrow. Sorry facts are hard

You build a statue of Skenes and on the pedestal you name every player and coach of that Championship Season

If you mean Skenes, then yes, but in due time. He’s likely to win more.
