I was in middle school when that chant starter to gain traction. I'm 28 now.
The students now don't even know when to say it they just want to say at every moment.
I think it's dead. Had a great run now.

I cannot believe this is still a thing. Isn't it's whole gimmick the banned song they sneak in anyway on occasion? If they played it every quarter, it would get old really quickly.

I can assure you they’re not playing for broke, drunk, immature 18 year olds. Being a student and attending a game is a privilege. I don’t know how it is now, but back in the mid 2000’s not every student could even get into the game.
It’s a national brand, it’s bigger than any childish student that can’t refrain from saying suck a dick.
It’s a great song, it gets the crowd/players hype, but the students ruined that. Accept it. Sucks for everyone.

Do y'all even go to Tiger Stadium? And if you do do you leave at halftime? Saturday Night in Death Valley scoring a TD on Saturday Night in a game vs Bama, Aubie, or Ole Miss and it takes the stadium up another notch.

The entire stadium doesn’t do it. Tiger Stadium has been able to “set the tone” for over half a century without this song.

Why are Louisiana kids so hellbent on being trashy? I’ve never understood it. They take pride in that kind of stuff. Don’t even try to hide their trashiness anymore.

Having an intimidating stadium environment usually means having trashier fans.
We could always try and be Notre Dame and model our atmosphere after episodes of Romper Room….

The band Director has nothing to do with this. It is leadership/board members that decide if they want the trashy song to continue.
