I don’t think he’ll coach here again. Takes a year off, resurfaces at a big school in 2 years.

Mainly because I don’t trust LSU administrators to do anything good for LSU.

Alleva won’t be fired but his contract wont be extended.

I think he's done for season. I'm holding out some hope for the future, but not counting on it sadly.

Unless there is some way LSU and/or Wade could get an immediate ruling on his requirement to testify, or an injunction, then he's done for the year. Beyond that, I have no idea.

IF he were to comeback for some reason, would he even want too with this clown show administration LSU has.

The eternal optimist in me says that WW will survive and at a minimum Joe Alleva will be gone.

Hate to say it but I think the phone call got him. It will be hard to recruit with every coach saying he will not last.

He's done. And now, LSU will have to pay the price (no pun intended).

He's not officially done.

My guess is that he never coaches D1 again.

He will end up offshore with a 2nd tier pro team.

If he loves LSU, he pleads the fifth in court. Gets fired for not talking to admin. NCAA can't use testimony.

This is not a fed investigation of WW or LSU. The FBI wire tapped Dawkins, he is the target and on trial for federal charges.

no. it's not a federal investigation of WW or LSU. It is, however, part of a federal investigation overall that was intended to nail someone else. WW got caught in the crossfire and appears to be in a situation now where it will lead to a WW and LSU investigation by the NCAA.

you think that's somehow better in terms of WW's future at LSU and the LSU basketball program's furture?

If so, educate me on the better overall outcome for both.

Trust me, he's DONE. If you believe otherwise, you believe in Santa Claus.

so if this leads to an NCAA investigation of LSU, why isn't there going to be a NCAA investigation of Duke and Kansas for the talk of Zion getting offers?
