If his career ended today, I'd remember him for two things: Obviously, his name being involved with the Will Wade stuff, and him completely dominating a great Tennessee team with our best player (Waters) out for the game which was huge for us in winning the SEC title. He had a solid year this year as the year went on. Hopefully he will be back.

All i know is that, watching him single-handedly beat number 1 Tennessee in his home town of Baton Rouge in OT was as memorable as it gets.

This board sleeps on how good JaVonte is, dude would start on every team in the SEC even Kentucky. He's been unbelievably unselfish to come off the bench his freshman year and then to move out of position because that is what the team needs him to do.

He will most likely be one of the best PGs in the conference again next year.

So he'd be a major contributor in the 2nd best two year stretch in the last 40 years of LSU basketball.

Unless it actually isn't.

To answer your question, no. He has not been a disappointment thus far.

It depends on how strong the offer was.

His game last year against Tennessee when they came to the PMAC #1 was one of the best games I’ve ever seen an LSU basketball player play.

He’s got the dawg in him and I love it.

He is a good college player but he needs to improve his game if he wants to play in the NBA. I could seem him playing in europe and making some good money...

Well, I know the rules but there's a letter he wrote saying he's gone as of now. I'm gonna go with that till he tells us otherwise
