Do y’all really think Nuss has an attitude problem?

I’ve always viewed him as a team first guy and find it odd some of you think that’s the cause for his draft slide.
It’s a lot more likely his injury + bad decision making were the main factors.

You couldn’t have posted this thought in the other “bad attitude” thread?

On the SEC behind the scenes Netflix documentary, Nuss was messing around with some defensive players in the locker room. Bradyn Swinson looked at the camera and called Nuss “the nicest QB1 in America.” Not the end all be all, but he seemed like a guy that was well liked in the locker room.

Numerous local sports writers said that his work ethic was considerably lacking.
I don't know if he never got his injury properly diagnosed, or if that's true.
Regardless, it looked like a lot of games were being played with what was true and what was not.
The scouts do their research, and who knows what they found. Given the above, he was a risk.

I have no idea, but I do know he is a reckless gunslinger with negative mobility.
That usually doesn't mix in this era of the NFL.

Who cares at this point! Just glad he’s gone

What do you think?
The diagnosis of the cyst was a huge positive and not career threatening at all.
At least 5 QBs selected before Nuss are not as talented nor the arm strength of Nuss.
It’s well documented Nuss chose a summer on the beach in 25 vs the type of preparation Burrow and Daniels put in.
The optics on Nuss blowing off BK when making mistakes are horrible and scream entitled QB.
Your answer is there, not some conspiracy or all the teams forgot about Nuss when drafting.

He blew off Kelly multiple times in game on the sidelines.
Kelly is a prick but a lot of nfl coaches are pricks.

He’s small
Had sub 9” hands at Sr bowl
And is wildly inconsistent, when healthy

True
The answer is very likely in the middle of all of this, so he'll get drafted later and have the opportunity to make way more
Question is in the NIL era, is how bad do u want long term success and glory
OR is making a couple mil in college and having a generally easy life what you want
Only Nuss can decide how bad he wants IT
he's not a bad dude, and seems like a nice guy, but one can easily question how bad he wants IT

Nuss was a solid Tiger and would have been a total different player under a sane coach.
Why?
He replaced a guy who won a Heisman under the same coaching staff.

Colleagues son majors in Kinesiology at LSU and was able to be around GN some. Said humility was not a characteristic he possessed. He could not attest to the rumblings of not working on his craft last summer that have been mentioned but did say very arrogant.

I think it’s his style.
Bad decision making and slow moving despite the injuries were always going to plague him in the draft

No, under Kellys management, anybody would have an attitude.
Daniels didn’t. Even when things weren’t going good.

Those were the same guys that said he wasn’t injured for half the year right?

Joe Sloan was Jayden’s OC? Also, there’s no way you are comparing Nuss to Jayden right?

The NFL decided his value was end of the 7th. Purdy is the only one drafted that late in the last decade that is now the actual starter. Purdy isn’t Lamar back there, but he’s decently mobile.

You're missing the point of the post I was responding to.
But, for the record, no I don't think Nuss is in the same stratosphere as Jayden... and neither does the NFL.

I mean the guy said he would have been a different player under a different coaching staff. I’m not going to argue with that. How many non dual threat QB’s have had success under Sloan and BK?
