I mean the guy said he would have been a different player under a different coaching staff. I’m not going to argue with that. How many non dual threat QB’s have had success under Sloan and BK?

Not many, but even when it comes to pocket passers, Nuss is a statue.

He was never going to be much better than what he was at LSU which was a mediocre QB who had his stats padded because of the volume of attempts.

The Alabama game did him zero favors. Zero pocket awareness. Wish Nuss the best but that game was very winnable, he didn’t look good.

Brian Kelly and staff didn’t bring in anything be to truly compete with him and the staff seemed like they could just replicate Jayden even though the OC changed.

He didn’t seem to have that killer instinct that you want out of your QB and he was content that he didn’t have to worry about job security. He has the talent to be a solid backup if someone can light a fire under his arse.

Im going to guess that the combined total number of minutes spent with Nuss from posters replying in this thread is under 10 minutes. Why would you even seek their thoughts on something they can't possibly have a clue what they are talking about?

Whatever, but he won’t make the final roster cut with KC.

I've spent zero minutes with him, but a lot of miserable minutes watching him flail, he's not a good qb, and is only being given a shot because of his name, and an extremely weak qb class

I’m not denying that. But there’s statue QB’s that have been very successful.

Maybe. I don’t really have a clue. We only got to see him play for one season, with a bad coaching staff and behind a bad OL. I’ll be interested to see if he improves after learning from Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes.

Where he was one of the least efficient deep ball passers in the conference... and that was supposed to be his strength when he's healthy.

I'm just not sure what everyone sees with Nuss. It's like they just see "third most passing yards in a season in LSU history" but don't dig any deeper than that.

Anybody can have an opinion on how good of a QB he is. We all watched him play. The thread was about his attitude though, which has absolutely nothing to do with anything you typed.

I wouldn't say attitude problem but maybe a work ethic problem if the rumors from last off-season are true

Didn't he pass for 4'000 yards prior to his injury. 29 TDs. Name another LSU QB that did that.

Who were Daniel"s receivers?

He welcomed JD5 because in his eyes he’s beat him out in camp. That didn’t happen.

He will be out of the league within a few years, if he even makes the roster.

They have Mahomes and Justin Fields.

Life comes really fast

I doubt there are any SEC quarterbacks who would be characterized as "humble", to be fair.

Think he has a throwing off his back foot problem. Really thought that would have been worked on over the years.

It’s well documented Nuss chose a summer on the beach in 25 vs the type of preparation Burrow and Daniels put in.

Is it really?

This rumor only started going around once LSU went off the rails.

Just based on what he said on Gordon's podcast.

"Unlike JD5, I dont need to get in early to watch tape"

& at the end of he day he'd rather just go home and play video games with his boys.

Didn't seem like the type to put in any extra effort. Assuming those traits carried over into his training, etc.
