Don't forget that, especially this past season, Fournette showed that he can be successful even when not lined up in the backfield.

Yeah, It's called unstoppable.

Basically, the way it works is you give the ball to either guy and the defense tries to stop them.

Abasolutely, we had plays with Hill/Magee, Blue/Magee, and I think Hill/Hilliard. I think a lot of these were pass plays but that is a MF having to commit to defending JH33 and LF7 on opposite sides of the play...

like in 07 when the rant wanted to put Trindon and Keiland in the split back veer.

If we ever busted out the "Wildcat", which back would you want to see taking the snap?

Bill Walsh used to run the split back set a lot and it was highly successful.

I would love to see those guys on the field together and not just in the I-form with Hill at FB

both have good hands so it would be a possibility that LF could shift into an H-back position for quick screens and drags. shite...just get the ball in his hands quickly and let everybody else smack somebody.

I would hope so.

Putting two RBs in the game on the same play would revolutionize the game!

No it just seems like we run mostly fb and tailback but not a lot of 2 back sets that call for 2 tailbacks. I don't remember a lot of Magee/Hill sets. Hill and Hilliard with Hilliard in a FB role or Hill with Neighbors or Hill with Copeland. Not much two back sets with 2 tailbacks. Which I hope we see next season all of the time.

We had a lot of two back sets. We had Hilliard as the "FB" plenty times the last two years and two RBs on opposite sides of the QB numerous times with different RBs. We even had Dickson lined up in the backfield for crying out loud. Do yall watch the games?

Did Hill play any QB in HS?

No, but Fournette did. Senior year 21/32 322 yards 2 TDs. He is our Wildcat QB if we ever use it.

While not slow, AJ isn't extremely fast either. I'd be more scared of Brandon Harris back there instead.

AJ ran a 4.52 coming out, you haven't seen his speed yet.

We ran a lot of 2 back sets last year because we had problems protecting the qb. So yes we will see it. Even saw it a few times this year.

I've come to the realisation that most don't. Or if they do,they are too drunk to know what's going on.
