While I am not a huge Marucci bbcor fan, there isn’t huge difference. Marucci just has a ton fewer than the rest. It’s not the bats. It’s the number of bats

The Louisville Slugger Select Pwr is a hotter bat (their Atlas bat too). It’s not really debatable.

But the Marruci CatX is fine and is in line with the old Demarini Voodoo One which players loved. And the CatX2 that we have are even better than the CatX. Now if we were still using the Cat9 that we used a couple of years ago, then yes, that bat sucked. But the CatX/CatX2 is a fine bat.

Screw that. Tigers play in a man sized ballpark.
We don’t need to change anything.

Here it is, between Marucci and Louisville slugger, they cover a lot of the highest quality brand bats. Why are we making players swing one if it’s not the best for that player. Girls are swinging Louisville and boys have Marucci. Let the boys choose Marucci or Louisville slugger, anything else is political bullshite.

Boys use Marucci gloves and girls have Wilson. I’d say bats are more important than glove choice.

There’s not as many schools using marucci as those brands

Analytics are everywhere now. If it was that much of an advantage Jay would be all over it. I’m sure all these bat companies test the exit velocities. They are probably almost identical.

Maybe this is why our home runs are down?

Yeah, it's the bat's fault LSU struggles with off speed pitching

3 of the top 5 home run hitters in college baseball use Marucci

This thread should be deleted. Marucci is the best bat maker in America. Louisville Slugger simply sponsors the most teams.

LSU has a signed contract in place to exclusively use Marucci bats and gloves.

and in the 25 years Jack Marucci has worked for LSU, they’ve also had deals with Easton and Demarini.

So it’s not political it’s money. plain and simple.

so where are we fighting?

then why did LSU wait 20 years to sign with Marucci?

and what politics drives the other 300+ teams to all sign exclusive bat deals?
