Bird man has been attending LSU baseball games for years and years. He was even a mainstay at the old Box. Not nearly as annoying as tge Vandy whistler. He makes his bird whistles only on occasion

Growing up listening to games on the radio I literally thought there were birds in the rafters at the old box. Took a shamefully long time for me to figure it out

Yup, dude has been around since the early 90s. He doesn't whistle between every pitch though, just kind of intermittenly.

That was a fake account, apparently they're both alive and well. Although one of them has a son recently diagnosed with ALS.

It was confusing to be fair. The two Whistlers are alive. But one of them, Preacher Franklin, recently lost his best friend who was part of their Vandy Superfan crew. "Goose" was with the whistlers at just about every Vandy Baseball, Basketball, and Football game for over 20 years.

I grew up going at Alex Box stadium in the early 90s. As I kid, I always thought the bird man was so neat. I’ll never forget the first time I saw him. In no way can he be compared the the Vandy whistler…frick that dude. Someone who annoys me at the box is the lady that shrill screams “Here we go, let’s go Tigers”.
