Texas. We want UGA to be a 2 SEC loss team so even if we drop a game down the stretch, we still have a better conference record than them.

Good point. LSU would control their own destiny to SEC CG if they can finish 7-1 in SEC.
Assuming UT is 8-0 or 7-1. I think everyone else would be 6-2 at least. Depends on who LSU loses to…

Georgia and not even close.
Texas is a direct competitor for a lot of our LA boys need GA to smoosh these dudes and make sark defense look incompetent

Texas needs to be whipped like a stepchild and learnt a lesson.

I would be good with Texas tech not super happy about Texas and Oklahoma though.
Texas was a mistake I hate them frickers and put me in a bind coming to sec bc wife is an alum and now I can’t root for them and she doesn’t get it lmfao
She keeps coming at me with “ I cheer for lsu why don’t you root for Texas”
Ahahaha frick texas

Georgia.
Although, honestly, this sounds stupid, but missing the SEC championship game might be the best path to the playoff. They need to fix that issue.

Unfortunately I think UGA needs to humble Texas.

From a pragmatic perspective, a Georgia loss benefits LSU the most. They already have one SEC loss, a second would definitely give us a leg up in the standings (assuming we keep finding ways to win - KEEP PAYING THAT VOODOO QUEEN, BAWS!).
Like it or not, Texas is #1 in both the conference and the polls. Even with an egregious loss I don't see them dropping enough to put them in range of LSU.
So, again, the pragmatic side of my brain says if we can't have a meteor strike on the stadium then Texas needs to win.

Tough call but Texas coming in and acting like they own the SEC in year one doesn’t sit well. Would not mind one of the Big6 and charter members reminding them of their place.
This. Maybe a Georgia loss helps us down the stretch, but I don’t want Texas to win the conference in year 1

Georgia
Right now there are only 3 SEC teams with 0 conference losses: Texas, Texas A&M, LSU. Georgia can remove Texas from that list with the hope that LSU can win on Saturday and knock A&M off that list in two weeks.

I disagree. If we go undefeated in the SEC then we play in the SEC Championship game no matter what. If UGA wins and we drop a game, then we are locked with UGA, Bama, A&M, and Texas all as one loss teams. We don't play UGA or Texas and its unlikely either team drops another game. I am not sure how the tie breakers will work but I'd rather have Texas as undefeated number 1 and UGA as a 2 loss SEC team. This gives us more wiggle room to lose a game and still make the SEC Championship game.
Only way we want UGA to win is if we want to try to avoid the SEC championship game to avoid the risk of missing the playoffs. It sounds counter intuitive but lets say we lose a game and get to the SEC Championship game vs Texas or UGA but lose that game. I could see the committee saying that a 10-2 UGA, Bama, Ole Miss, A&M is a better fit than a 10-3 LSU that just lost. I am not saying thats a guarantee but it definitely could happen.
