I sat in the lower bowl east side. Inside of the stadium was super tight. Not a lot of space to move around. Took forever to get to the seats once inside the stadium because they have very little section entrances and huge sections. So people just end up stacked on top of each other trying to get in.

Bleacher seats were in good condition, but super compact. The only way everyone fits in a row sitting down is of the entire row consist of 100lb women. Most people end up standing the majority of the game. They pack 100,000 fans in a stadium that had far less seating space than Tiger Stadium.

Music made it feel like a hockey match. The piped music even played over their band. UT fans were on their feet the entire game and it was a solid atmosphere...a little crunchy granola (or wine and cheese as you guys refer to it.) I was in a sea of orange and there weren't any LSU fans near me to high five....It was glorious!!!! The in-stadium eye candy was amazing. Women are definitely SEC caliper even if football team wasn't lol

If we were at Tiger Stadium and LSU was behind but clawing back like Texas was Saturday Night the stadium would have been rocking. I mean blurry vision ear hurting rocking. Think 2012 Bama game. Texas made more than enough plays to set that DKR crowd on fire but it never quite caught.

We were in lower ends zone, got loud and seemed fake excitement a couple of times.
Then would go dead after we scored, never heard a band all night. Had four good tiger fans in front of me to high five which was great. Had four A Holes on my right cussing jumping calling us Swamp Peaple total A holes but they disappeared at 4:00 min mark , ha

The stadium and area around it was nice and with upscale type of folks. The band and Bevo parade was cool. The women were hot and the preferred outfit of denim miniskirt and cowboy boots is a real nice look. Stadium was clean, fans jacked up, stood the entire game, but a motivated Tiger Stadium , Swamp, Joran Hare, or Bryant Denny keep more noise reverberating inside instead of escaping through the open South Endzone. Nonetheless, it was a hostile, hot, and a tough place to win. Piped in music and constant loudspeaker noise were uber obnoxious and the announcer sounded like the WWE ready to rumble asshat. Most fans were cordial and I got the feeling that most of them were in the Texas is Back mentality from beating Georgia, and had little clue of the type of athletes- especially on offense, that flew in from Baton Rouge on Friday. After the game, they were congratulatory. Overall, it was a bucket list experience and a special place to watch the Tigers leave town with a W. Not doubt Coach O’s biggest win so far.

The bathrooms were sweltering like a Turkish prison, and the concourse in the 100 sector was a death trap. It was like Bourbon st on Mardi Gras, just a sweaty mass of people. I’ve never seen a stadium with a concourse that bad.

(I’ve been to every sec stadium with the exception of Arkansas and Missouri.)

To compare Apples to Apples you need to compare that Texas crowd to the most jacked-up crowd in a decade at an SEC Stadium.

Yeah thats a solid point.

Just based off the average student that goes to UT, I cant imagine it being very wild. Kids who get into UT either have alot of money, have a sports scholarship, or have the academic prestige to get in due to how many in-state kids want to get in. Id say the majority are the latter. LSU just has a higher blue collar fan base that lives for Saturday night in Death Valley. I could see TAMU's base being more similar to ours.

Stadium's pipe in music to overcompensate for lack of crowd noise. Im ok with some piped in music every once in a while but not when it hinders crowd noise.

I've been to several venues. Everything looked nice and clean enough to believe it was new. But...the stadium is not new, which tells you how much money the Athletic Dept is working with.

It reminded me of M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore...which is an NFL venue. The stadium in terms of amenities was a lot nicer than most SEC venues.

In terms of atmosphere I thought it lacked considering it was the biggest game on campus in a decade. Too much piped in music.

Pre-game tailgating can not be compared to SEC. It's just so different. Fans tailgate at the bars and restaurants...and you can't blame them. Just different.

We better shut ours off next year when UT comes to town.

Tough place to play.

Fans were very loud although I’ve heard louder.

Impressed by how fans on our sideline stood the entire game less timeouts, etc.

People were congratulating us after the game and were very nice.

Never saw any punk fans the entire weekend. Fans showed our brand much respect.

Agree that the Texas fans were cool before and after except for some near me berating injured players - not just the ones with cramps.

Am confused by the people critiquing the atmosphere in game. The around stadium situation is terrible, that's true. But from where we were sitting lower bowl endzone it was very loud at times. The Texas fans around us were super engaged. They didn't sit down for one play. Yeah, its a bit wine and cheese. There were no fights. It wasn't Tiger Stadium or Jordan Hare. But I thought the in game experience was not too dissimilar from our game against Georgia in 2013. Much louder than Ole Miss or SC.

Yeah, this sounds like some revisionist here history by sore winners. Lol.

The student section was literally nonexistent, it looked like a bunch of kids wandered in from the chess club meeting....

Sat in lower east bowl. It was really loud at times when they were on defense, but nothing sustained like you'd see for a big home game in Tiger Stadium. Got really quiet in the second quarter. Got loud again when they started coming back, but after the 3 and 17 TD a lot of them started exiting.

Was lucky to have several LSU fans around us to celebrate with. The Texas fans sitting immediately around us were really nice and made good conversation. A few rows up and back from us were some loud trash talking fans, but they never tried to start anything with us.

While leaving the stadium we didn't engage with any Texas fans other than thanking the ones who congratulated us. However, some kid (probably student) went about 10 feet left from where he was walking to throw a hard shoulder check into my chest and then stare at me with his chest puffed out. Couldn't help but laugh at him. Was pretty clear he just wanted to fight anyone in purple.

I think it would be pretty accurate to say their older fans were very hospitable and their younger fans were a mix of immaturity and never experiencing any sort of team success to act like they've been there before.

stadium was filthy underneath. It looked like they had a big event the night before and did not clean up.

fans were nice. They were not, however, loud and intimidating. Miss State is louder than they are with far fewer people. So is Auburn and Fla.
