If tweet fails to load, click here. Got players in the quad begging for students to show up. Damn shame what they did to basketball

Even the guy on SEC after the game said, Take Tanner off Vandy and you basically have LSU without DJ. yes they should have beaten SC at home without DJ but to act like losing 24 ppg 8-12 assists pg and 5-6 rebounds per game between Reed and DJ ,not to mention your 2 team leaders, is easy to overcome shows you know nothing about basketball.

Its amazing the more games Reed and Thomas miss the better they get. History lesson McMahonspuffer. 2nd game of 78-79 season LSUs best player Durand Macklin who by the way was a hell of alot better player than Reed or Thomas broke his foot and missed the rest of the season.Guess what Dale Brown didnt roll into a fetal ball and cry like Mcloser he won the SEC regular season title and made it to the Sweet Sixteen of the NCAA tournament....Imagine that.

Every single post you make shows you know nothing about basketball.
They do show you’re a legitimately stupid person that embraces mediocrity in every facet of your life.

Rudy Macklin. One of my childhood super stars. The LSU v KY basketball of 1978-1991 timeframe was of another universe. So many memories. Those kids of today just have no idea what it was like to be in that building back then.

If the injury is chronic why not change the lineup, just an idea. However I’ve always been a fan of having one off the best off the bench philosophy. It may be archaic. Sutton or mick off the bench still closing the game, playing 33. Maybe that should have been tried against Carolina instead of uk though.

The chances of anybody ever giving a shite about LSU basketball again are listed as doubtful too !

Thomas is faking an injury another school that is a better basketball team told him to fake the injury, don't play all year transfer at the end of year and they would give him 5 million a year! They also told him by transferring to this other school he will improve his draft position into the top 5 of the NBA draft,my guess it's Arizona that is the other school. MM will be gone at the end of the year!

LSU basketball from 1978 - 1981 was the best ever, followed by the overachieving units from 1986 and 1987. And the years 1988 - 1992 were fun as well, even though the team didn't go as far in the tourney as they should have with all their talent.

No DJT again.
Preemptive Excuse Strike from the McMA's.
It doesn't matter. Next man up.
There should be sufficient depth in Year 4.
If there's no competent backup to come in, then that's the McHC's fault. Nobody else to blame!

If we can get DJ Thomas back Saturday, I still see a path to 8 wins** (1/17) Mizzou - MUST WIN Win 1 of 2 vs Arkansas Miss State @ SC @ Texas @ Ole Miss OU A&M
I agree with all of those except Texas. They are decent and being an away game will make that one tough. If Thomas returns after Kentucky, then I see the other 7 as likely wins. They’ll have to play to the capability that I think they’ve shown with Thomas, but they have no margin for error. They would end the season 7-11 in the conference and 19-12 overall. Hopefully their NET will be good enough to get into the tournament.

Question for the optimistic LSU fans - what is the magic number for us to get in the NCAAT? 8-10? 9-9? # of Q1 wins?
