Disgusting Hellfire and Damnation comic handed out leaving stadium

SIAP, but I just now looked at this little booklet I was handed while leaving the game. It’s titled “Scream!” and it’s all about how you’ll burn in Hell for all eternity unless you think a very specific way.
I’m no atheist but it really grinds my gears having stuff like this passed around after LSU games disguised as Halloween comics.

I did a little research - it’s whats known as a “Chick tract”.
And the guy was right outside of TigerStadium with a few hundred of them so I’m sure someone else on here got one.

I’m not saying they should be barred from disseminating their materials, which would be a violation of their 1A rights.
I’m simply making a value judgement of their tactics and the material itself. Namely that it’s a Trojan horse that looks like a kids Halloween comic.

I would think some kind of permit is needed to hand out promotional material on campus... otherwise I suspect we would see a lot more doing it...he was there before the game as well...went to hand it to me...I just refused it because it was obvious what it was... walked to meet a friend and crossed him again on the way back..and he forcefully tried to give it to me again... should not be allowed to harasse fans

Why not go ahead and read it? Unless it's from Mormons or Jehovah's Witnesses, I guarantee it will do you some good.
