Play clock wasn't reset. Etling noticed it immediately and refs didn't care.

You didn't hear that taking too long to get a play in and accepting a delay of game is much different and better than taking too long to get a play in and calling a TO to avoid the penalty?

Things did run smoothly, but people have lost their minds with all of the "OMG this has never happened before" posts.

And BYU only had 38 snaps the entire game. Unbelievable.

38 snaps, 97 total yards, -5 yards rushing, never crossed the 50

still didn't waste a TO...In CLM games we would often waste 2-3 TO's and still have a few DOG penalties.

Interesting statistic. It would be nice to know exactly how often LSU wasted TO's to get a play in and also have DOG penalties during Miles' tenure.

Goddamn it we should have never lost to Saban in Tiger Stadium. Kicked their dicks in the dirt in 08, 12, and 14 as huge underdogs only to have hard fought wins wiped away at the end.

I think 75 is outstanding considering most snaps were at the 2 second mark on the play clock.

Miles is gone guys. No sense making up BS stats against the man. Some of you are truly sad.

I don't understand all the downvotes....I've been noticing and saying this for years....it seems people don't remember all the cup-cake games where we struggled to score until the 2nd half...I remember

There has been obvious improvement in that area and that alone is huge to me in just the 1st game. It'll get better.

They've ran that many plays numerous times. I know the comparisons are never going g to end. But let's not make shite up about one guy to prop up the other.

I recall a very similar game against state, people weren't acting like they are now after this win. And that team went on to play for a national title.
