Did we ever have 75 Offensive plays in a game under Miles?

I'm pretty sure I'm wrong about this, but didn't we average around 45-50 offensive plays per game under Miles?

I know it's one game with Canada (And it was "only" BYU) But I like the ball control aspect and the ability to actually move the chains that Canada has brought to the table. We'll see how effective the Offense can really be when we start the SEC schedule. Hopefully it'll get even better over time.

P.S. It was nice to watch a game where we didn't play down to the opponent and wait to the last Quarter to put them away.

It wasn't that bad, we had 50 against Wisconsin and that was the low water mark I believe.

You are wrong.

We averaged 64-69 almost ever year of Miles tenure

So with that average, I would assume we hit 75 plays several times under Miles

we probably didnt...and not to take away from the offensive coaching staff...but it helps when the opponent never crosses the 50. You kind of get the ball more often

Doubtful.

Fwiw, it struck me several times during Saturday's game how exciting things are now that the Miles "error" is over. Change is exactly what this football program needed.

Yes, we had over 75 and you don't have to look very far to find it. No, we didn't average 45-50.

The better question is have we ever held a team to 38, and what kind of impact did that have on our offensive number?

O was arguing with the Ref after the delay call. I wonder if he thought they started the clock early on the previous play.

They started the clock at 25 because we had a dead ball penalty, for some reason we thought it was supposed to be 40 and got caught taking too long to get the play in.

It is remarkable we got that many plays in considering how quickly the game went by. They kept the chains moving and the clock rolling.

Les ran more than that against the National Champ Gumps in 2012.

You may be on to something.

Can we at least keep it real in here. I'm starting a new business "Coach O Kneepads". Pls send your order and color preference for immediate shipping.

PS
We are out of stock on brown.

I believe we ran under 50 plays at Washington in 09. Something like 47 or 48?

When's the last time we had one punt with no turnovers and over 65 plays? That's what I want to know.

still didn't waste a TO...In CLM games we would often waste 2-3 TO's and still have a few DOG penalties.
