We were shitty on defense like I thought we would be, and finished one game better than I thought, due to the surprising offense.

Typical disappointing Les Miles season. There will be several more.

I figured 10-2. Like some other folks in the thread, the Ole Piss game was a disappointment.

Yeah ok. They Met my expectations. Thought wed lose to UGA early, then bama and tamu would be a toss up.

It went as expected. I predicted 9-3, losing at Bama and Georgia, and losing one game that would make us . That game came against Ole Miss. Proud of the way this team recovered from the Bama loss to bury the myth of Jonathan Football and drive 99 yards with a backup QB to win a rivalry game. Looking forward to next year.

offense- exceeded (Landry is a beast)
defense- fell short especially the middle of the d-line(FREAK!)
special teams- met
i thought 10-2 was the mark we would hit. losing 2 out of 3 to Bama, Georgia, or A&M.

I picked 9-3 with losses to UGA, Ole Miss or aTm, and Bama. Wouldn't have thought we would lose to Ole Miss' 2nd string and have to come from behind to beat a winless Arkansas team at home. Also thought we would play Bama close. With all of that said I guess I'm pleased with the record, but not too pleased with how we got it.

As long as Cam Cameron remains at LSU, the defense will need to catch up with the offense.

LSU will now be able to recruit QB talent on a national level. However, I am not sold on your Offensive Line coach.

Hopefully, Miles lets Cameron make changes with the offensive coaching staff where he sees fit.

9-3 predicted with one head scrtching loss...excited for next year more than I expected due to AJ, TW, RR, TD and recruiting.

I agree. We had so many new faces on defense that it was simply too much to ask of this bunch to play championship football. The Ole Miss drive at the end (after they screwed up the same scenario against AtM previous week was simply not meant to be. THAT was the highlight of their seaon! Otherwise we would have the chance to be in BCS bowl (IMHO): losing only to Georgia (when they were healthy and loaded w NFL players in skilled positions on offense) and Ala. when we got behind and basically panicked. Auburn stayed w the run game and it worked out in their favor (just saying - we were running over Ala. in Q1). Why all the passing all of a sudden? Bama burning LSU w 21 unanswered was the highlight of their season as well.

Still I don't think EXPERIENCE wise we were poised for greatness but we were competitive. I want that EVERY year! Looking forward to Bowl game and 2014 Tiger Bash. Should be something special this round. Geaux Tigers!

Met I guess. I thought 9-3 was the most probable finish. Looking back over the season, there were highs and lows for sure. I'm still pissed about the ole piss loss.

A little disappointed, very slight though.

Only disappointing thing was losing to Ole Miss

Only loss that bothered me was Ole Miss.

UGA, Bama, and TAMU game were a toss-up.

And i also expected the D to struggle too. Losing 7 key players in 1 draft will do that.

Losing to ole miss and squeaking by ark makes it a fall short for me.

Figured as most did we would lose at Alabama.
Played Uga hard, tough loss.

Ole miss and ark games were almost inexcusable.
Defense was terrible.
Offense was better than good.

Fg kicker was a pleasent surprise.
Punter was terrible.

As someone said earlier another LM team playing to level of competition.
Au and Alabama both put 50 plus on ark.
But hey, who am I to question the winless piggies "want" for the coveted golden boot?

I'd say met.

Ole Miss loss really bothered me but wasn't a shock, since everyone was on their jock preseason as a team to watch. LSU just played like crap.

This. But I did hate the way Bama man handled LSU in the second half.

I was surprised D struggled so much and was surprised O looked so much better, so a wash there.

And I'm always happy when we beat Auburn.
