I don’t think Etling was available that game, I think his back was giving him issues.

And Harris actually got better as the game went on. Looked like he was gonna drive us to a GW FG. What an awful play the Int was.

Harris’ football confidence definitely died that day

That game sealed Miles fate. The offense was pathetic.

I’m still emotionally distraught from that trip.

Beginning of the end for Les Miles. You could sense it. Took the wind right out of the LSU sails. Then add the loss to Aubrun due to horrible clock management and I recall thinking - stick a fork in him he's done.

Too bad....I liked Les Miles.

Yeah, I agree, but Q & E turned that offense around just by changing QBs. Harris was horrible. He could not even play at NC. Etling is on an NFL practice squad.

Yep, that prolific showing against Bama that year is proof.

I lost all respect for Les that day realizing he was just playcatting to the masses.

Play acting? Placating?

I think a lot of people died inside when they realized miles was going to run the same offense

I still remember how mad I was that the student section chanted “We want Les!” Repeatedly after beating #19 A&M.

We could have had Jimbo or someone other than O.

How many places are Lambeau field though? The place is like MSG is to the NBA or Fenway to baseball.

It’s the reason I went. You will probably never see Your favorite college football team play on any field as revered again.

I’d say combination of fans growing weary of these neutral site games, and only getting to second tier bowl games. I haven’t been to either since Wisky in Jerry’s world, and I used to do them all.

Everyone in the family went to Lambeau. For some reason I wasn’t feeling it. I am so glad I opted out.

I am planning on Austin though. And get into the playoffs and tiger nation will show out.

That's the last game LSU fans travelled to well.

You guys crack me up. LSU gets bent over as Mississippi State, slapped in the face at Florida, and kicked in the arse at Texas A&M but a game three years ago is the cause we don't travel good.

Oh boo who... Now you don't go to games because of neutral site games. Who cares, I love them. Would I rather play home at home yell yes but Dallas and Houston is close AF, you can drink and it's still fun.

I like going to all these other teams stadiums also and they're giving us that with Texas next year. If they do these we should do one of each every year. Home at home with the bigger school and do the neutral site with like TCU or Oklahoma State type games. The Ohio States, USC's, Oregon's, Michigans, Florida States, Oklahoma's and those types should be home at home IMO.

Once we build the depth we need I don't see why we couldn't do that.

For pointing out a pathetic showing against Bama? I guess if sticking your head in the sand and pretending that everything is fine is what constitutes being a fan, then I'm not one.
