Or did he take up valuable practice reps that could have gone to the other two? How should we be thinking about the QB competition that played out this off season?

According to a few different people that have been at camp, Myles looked disinterested and looked like he was just going through the motions. I’m going to go ahead and say that he didn’t make anyone better

What if Myles didn't really lose the QB battle and instead simply came to the slow realization he was, in fact, done?

That's gotta be it.

They were doing summer workouts without him. The work was already put in. The practices are just the fruits of their labor and to see who doesn’t crack under pressure IMO.

You can say whatever you want to say, but at the end of the day Myles was the 4th best qb on this roster

I hope you're right. If so, we're in a damned good spot.

Who said that? I heard he was "Smooth and took care of the Ball" More than once.

no Daniels and nuss deserve all the credit for their hard work.

well he was told he wouldn’t be starting so I’d say he lost the QB battle

I would say watching someone that could throw as well as Brennan with
great mechanics should have been helpful. I think he realized by the time they
hit the summer and seeing the improvements in Daniels and Nuss, he knew he
wasn't beating either one of them out.

If that’s the case the Daniels and Nuss still had no idea what Kelly told Myles.
So yes they worked harder to prove themselves vs a Vet in front of coach.

Yep - MB’s best attribute was his arm strength, and according to everyone at practice, his arm has looked like a wet noodle lately

lol, no. Myles didn't put in much work in the summer. He went hunting and fishing and what not while the other 2 were trying to get better. He also didn't look as good as either during practice. He lost the QB battle and finally just quit when they told him he wasn't going to start. I know that makes me sound like I'm hating, but I'm not. He just didn't do enough to earn the spot, and he's now done with football. He's a good kid, but lost his chance as a starter for LSU during the 2020 season.

Alan Iverson does not think it's possible to make your teammates better at practice.
