Did LSU technically finish the season in 6th place in the SEC?

2. Georgia (7-1)
3. Texas A&M (5-3, wins tiebreaker with LSU and Kentucky)
3. Florida (5-3, wins tiebreaker with LSU but loses tiebreaker with Kentucky)
3. Kentucky (5-3, wins tiebreaker with Florida but loses tiebreaker with aTm)
6. LSU (5-3, loses tiebreaker to both Florida & aTm)

officially and technically finished tied for 2nd in the west and tied for 3rd in the SEC and finished 10th in the country in the CFP poll.

Alabama Georgia and Florida finished in front of us. We came in at 10 with aTm at 19. I guess they put the texas am game into context of it being a aTm home game with plenty of home cooking from the refs.

All those years we beat aTm and finished with the same conference record, we still finished tied in the standings with them.
