Yeah, for what exactly though? They didnt dress or even roster the guys everyone was freaking out about. It would be one thing if they just played them sat. anyways but they didnt. So I'm really not getting what exactly the SEC is trying to punish LSU for. Also if the SEC is going be ahead of compliance is Sanky just going to be judge jurry and executioner that university's are subject to without a chance to state their case to other members?

Bad for contacting players, which every SEC program did post-5 for 5? 2 months earlier, players had 3 choices, and none of them included staying in the program. They ran out of eligibility and had to choose between staying in school, getting a regular full-time job, or pursuing the NFL. Once a player exhausts eligibility, they don't declare like after the junior year; they leave. Every SEC team targeted 2022 signees who had run out of eligibility before June 5 for the 5-rule—half the league rostered players who interfaced with an NFL team and signed a participatory contract. LSU seems blatantly targeted, and this isn't some left-field, Alex Jones-esque conspiracy. It’s crystal clear and coordinated.
If things go sideways and LSU gets kicked out, the discovery process will be pure hell for the SEC and the other 15 SEC members. Every SEC team’s records will be subpoenaed, including the Gump cock slurping SEC office.
Seriously, frick Sankey and frick these disingenous SEC school shite bag presidents who are clearly trying to concentrate and flex power. It's borderline neo-fascism and looks like classic collusion.
A small part of me wants to see these red redneck assholes kick LSU out. At the same time, LSU joins the Big 12 temporarily—until they successfully launch and win the biggest sports antitrust suit of this century, with the federal courts awarding LSU treble damages in the 11 figures. Have fun writing that $733 million check, Red Elephant retards.

If they did then the SEC for some reason has not put it in any court documents yet. I say no.

The SEC is making this big court battle basically because Lane talked some shite and no one at LSU told him to stop. And some sports writer found some unnamed sources that said some LSU reps were trying to get people to sue the SEC/NCAA.

Well we didn’t put them on the roster.
Our crime is we didn’t vote on a rule that is going to end up getting the member schools adjoined in lawsuits.

Sankey might be the judge and executioner, but the other 15 university presidents are the jury here. We’re talking about a vote of the member institutions, not a punishment handed down directly by the league office.
I haven’t read the SEC bylaws but I keep seeing it reported that a member can be expelled from the conference with a 2/3 vote. If it takes a 2/3 vote to expel a member, then surely lesser sanctions can also be implemented with a vote. So I think the question becomes: do they need a concrete rules violation to impose sanctions (or expulsion) if it goes to a vote? My guess is no.
