Disagree with the decision of les benching Quinn 100% he's our most polished receiver and best route runner by far IMO and he has to be on the field. The kid is open 90% of the time he's out there and I'm not making a excuse for him but he's not use to seeing the ball come his way hardly ever bc he doesn't wear #83

a team could probably dedicate all of their DBs to dural, leave the other guys open, and AJ wouldn't notice

Quinn got in a little. I really hope he gets it together but he has had the dropsies for a while now

Odell Beckham Jr. had the dropsies early in his career. All of our receivers, including Quinn, will be much improved (I hope).

Lets be honest, Quinn hasn't really shown anything Diarse hasn't shown, if that.

I think he is good, but putting simon the field over Dupre or Diarse, which he often was, didn't make any sense.

While i agree that Jennings needs to see the bench, lets not pretend switching your second receiver is the same as switching your starting QB.

And honestly we are probably a lot less critical of Jennings of Quinn catches those multiple 1st downs he dropped to close out the game.

You are not watching the game close enough if you have this opinion. As others said earlier, there is an art form to getting open consistently, beating press coverage, and some guys are better than others at this.

Another apparent regression - he looked good in early action, and regressed.

dropping passes is not a regression. Its lack of focus. He is still a good receiver. he's just having some bumps in the road.

the word regression is used recklessly on the rant

LMAO. Dude no one is open 90% of the time but we get your admiration for Quinn.

It's not an admiration... Yeah I exaggerated when I said 90% but I didn't exaggerate when I said he's our most polished receiver and best route runner and needs to be on the field because of it..

Are you?

trey quinn make 2 good catches a game and people cream their pants because he is a white kid

Dupre is clearly better.

I wonder if Amari Cooper gets benched after drops.
He had what, about 2 drops against LSU right?
Did they stop throwing the ball to him?
Was he 'benched' against MSU?

Dude, are you really going to compare Trey Quinn to Amare Cooper? Awful attempt at a point.

I have got to agree with this. Let the guy work through the drops. He has good hands. It is a focus or nervousness issue which reps will solve.

This isn't the first Wide receiver this has happened too. I remember Brandon Lafell doing much worse and not being really benched. I thought it would get that bad before being benched, but who knows more than the coaches right.

I wonder if Ensminger can be sent to offseason Hogs practices to find out how to use a tight end for other than blocking. That would do wonders for the run game and to get the blanket coverage off all the receivers.

tes were open all season.

Diarse couldn't hardly get past the line of scrimmage when jammed on a 3rd and 7 play from the 10 yard line.

Don't call him out on one play. Diarse was streaking wide open waving his hand hand with no defender to stop him on any pass thrown when Jennings rolled (towards his side) but tucked the ball without looking downfield. That was 6 taken away from Diarse.

Quinns been dropping them all season. Wish Diarse would have been given more of a chance this year.

You think Quinn regrets not taking 3 years of Deshaun Watson instead of the 3 years and 3 different QB's he's gonna get at LSU?
