well I'll say this, if we're going to basically use our TEs as OL I wonder why we even have a need for a TEs coach

cooper actually has great coaches coaching him, so he's fine...a couple drops, no problem, he's back at it and running great routes to make up for it and making big plays

miles just sits everybody and and runs up the gut for the rest of the game

DeSean got thrown to once...it totally shocked me!
That was the play that got the Arky player DQ'ed for targeting.

THAT'S IT - good memory. I'm starting to block out much of this season.

He had what, about 2 drops against LSU right?
Did they stop throwing the ball to him?

The major difference is that he's almost all they have in the passing game.

That's common when you're not confident in your QB putting the ball where you won't get killed.

You don't think the TE's COACH wants to use the TE's more in the game plan???!!!....Not to mention we got the 1 TE recruit to come here!! Come on man. You can't be that stupid. I am pretty damn sure Ensminger would like to have his TE's dialed up more. That decision is not his.

Why would receivers play? Oh, I get it, they are decoys at the receiving position, like AJ at the qb position.

Man, Quinn seemed to catch it just fine when Harris was throwing to him... Hmmmm

I am sure deep down inside, Ensminger is thinking the same thing!...Why the hell am I here. I feel horrible for Gordon. Kid could have gone anywhere, and came to a team that doesnt even think/know the TE position exist!

Nope. His drop-a-thon continued as he unleashed several more against State. The bloom is coming off of that rose a bit.

I firmly believe that AJ is not this bad (maybe not good, but not this bad) but the coaches are not giving him the best chance to succeed and have also killed his confidence.

If the QB doesn't make the proper read, the TE's will never get the ball, even if they are the intended target.

Not good memory. I remember it out of frustration since we don't use TEs that well/often.

And...I watch the game in a different way since I'm a HS official in Alabama.

I somewhat agree, but I think a lot of the simplicity has to do with the QB. I don't think he can read a defense for shite and his physical tools are severely lacking. I mean what can you do? It's on the coaches for continually trotting him out there though.

I just take issue with how he handles poor play differently with different players.

LOL, NO it's not. if I'm not mistaken, they have this guy in the heisman race. They also said that he is probably the best player in all of college football. Now I think they are going way over the top, but whatever.

LOL, that tells me you did not watch the Auburn game. Ball thrown high and too far out in front, he reaches, trying to make a play for a struggling QB, takes a big hit, comes back in the game later to make a catch.

I bet you see that every day........NOT!

if I was a WR at LSU I would not be a fan of AJ. his misses are the kind of misses that get receivers destroyed

This is a legitimate concern.

Cooper is a stud. He gets targeted 15 times a game, mixes in a couple of drops, but also mixes in some big plays. I think our WR would do the same or better.

Not only that you run your arse off to get open for the only passing play among the million running plays and Jennings does not even look your way. He is staring Dural down until either one Dural creates separation or two he gets sacked.
