And Diarse couldn't hardly get past the line of scrimmage when jammed on a 3rd and 7 play from the 10 yard line.

I wonder if Ensminger can be sent to offseason Hogs practices to find out how to use a tight end for other than blocking. That would do wonders for the run game and to get the blanket coverage off all the receivers.

That might open up the offense.

But I guess Les is still gunshy watching the Outback bowl pick Jennings through in that game.

I was sitting in the stands and sometime in the third quarter I asked myself the same question, where is Trey Quinn?

I couldn't remember seeing him on the field at all. If he got minutes then they certainly weren't many.

Ugh...those 1 WR sets and patterns. It's what killed Mett his first year. Again, the coaches are being too conservative and not letting these guys play.

I firmly believe that AJ is not this bad (maybe not good, but not this bad) but the coaches are not giving him the best chance to succeed and have also killed his confidence.

Quinn gets short arms when he has to go across the middle. He hear footsteps, & drops the ball worried about the hit!

Another apparent regression - he looked good in early action, and regressed.

Diarse, too - good early, and regressed. Chi is the only one of the freshmen who looks to be progressing normally.

Dural only looks comfortable deep and on the sidelines. One of these cats is going to have to develop as the middle guy - it was supposed to be Quinn or Diarse (or split) - neither looks ready - they look like young players.

I suspect everyone will look better next year with reps, but the lack of progression (and apparent regression) was not encouraging during the season - although it is not totally unexpected.

I can not confirm, nor deny what was supposed to happen on that play.

They threw a pass to Smith - I think it was a PI or holding call, too - and my memory is fuzzy, it was either Bama or Arky, but I seent it.

Please tell me that you aren't honestly blaming the TE coach for the play designs? Do you really think the position coach is in charge of what plays are called and who goes out on routes and who stays in on pass protection?

DeSean got thrown to once...it totally shocked me!
That was the play that got the Arky player DQ'ed for targeting.

All I'm saying is if you have TE's, use them.
Ark was matching up TE's on our LB's all day and that was the difference converting 3rd downs, other than that our defense controlled their run game

I wonder if Amari Cooper gets benched after drops.
He had what, about 2 drops against LSU right?
Did they stop throwing the ball to him?
Was he 'benched' against MSU?
