My buddy told me Hanagriff mentioned Coach O is dealing with a hip issue. I included him in my prayer and will continue to do so until he’s 100% again.

That is a rather unconventional perspective, though perhaps expected from someone who may lack an appreciation for a team's heritage. It seems the focus is entirely on personal experience rather than the richness found in understanding a team's remarkable history, which may limit one's depth of perspective.
Coach O was an integral part of one of the greatest college teams in history. While the current team could achieve similar success, his LSU squad set the precedent. Perhaps you could research his legacy to gain more reverence for a coach who, despite being on the sidelines, witnessed one of the most significant eras in LSU football history.
