So you equate showing respect for a man to performing oral sex on him? That's odd. Good for you if you're into that, but still odd.

And if the decade of disrespect you're talking about was the 1990s, this can be easily explained. LSU couldn't compete against the Gators. Spurrier had built a monster program and LSU wasn't competitive against Florida or any of the other top programs of the decade.

As for my sig quote... it's fact. Your problem if it makes you mad. And considering how you react to men whom you respect, it's probably best that you don't respect me.

Have a good evening.

How do you know he was being disrespectful? I can think of a lot of things said in that moment that would have resulted in a reaction like that from Spurrier since he was being pissy about thinking his QB got hit late. Plus... who is the grown man that has been coaching for 35 years and why would he react to something a 21 year old player on the other team said to him. Spurrier shouldn't have been on the field.

I'll have a mature conversation about this with you. Why would you say that Nick Saban is the greatest LSU coach ever? And why should I just "accept it"?

Did Logan knock Spurrier's Bible out of his hand before the yelling started?

I think this is right. When watching live, it looked like he was talking to Bennie. When I backed it up right after, I saw that Spurrier was griping at the official for the no-flag. He was still barking when the official walked to Bennie's left, just off camera. Bennie looked like he was facing SS, and then he SS looked back and said "unbelievable". I think he was still griping at the official, who by that time was walking back to his position. I also agree wholeheartedly that the Personal foul on Loston was 100% a makeup call. Musberger was talking about Loston being flagged for intent and I told my wife that if they are going to flag for intent in addition to actions, we are going to need a shrink official to determine everyone's intent on every play. That's crazy - flagged for intent!

I agree with both. I know the man Logan played under in HS. I actually coached with him. I know he did not learn this from him. Adrenalin or not, you have to learn his place as a player and have respect. In reference to the scene in Titans where BB points his finger in the face of the opposing coach, going by Boone's character in the movie, he'd benched BB for that.

Folks are naive to think there's not more smack between coaches and players. Bama players insulted Saban after the '02 game following the bogus locker room speech!

Yea this sounds much more like an opinion to me. You are a dumb arse. Know what that was? My opinion.

Here are your facts. I would be tickled for you to post Saban or Cholly Mac's accomplishments at LSU.

I watched it on dvr and you can't tell what logan says but you see spurrier point at louis and yell something to the ref. Then logan comes over and clearly says something to spurrier and then spurrier points a finger at logan and clearly says "YOU BE CAREFUL"

I think Spurrier said, "For you, my friend"

That was a horrible call. He got flagged for wanting to hit somebody with his helmet, but not actually doing it.

Not really; since Saban got to Bama, here is the list of SEC champs:
2007 - LSU
2008 - Florida
2009 - Alabama
2010 - Auburn
2011 - LSU

that is nowhere near approaching what Spurrier wreaked on the SEC:
1989 - Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee
1990 - Tennessee
1991 - Florida
1992 - Alabama
1993 - Florida
1994 - Florida
1995 - Florida
1996 - Florida
1997 - Tennessee
1998 - Tennessee
1999 - Alabama
2000 - Florida
2001 - LSU

So, even if Bama wins this season, that gives him 2 SEC championships in 6 seasons. Spurrier had 3 by then, and followed it with 2 more consecutive. Florida had a stretch where they won 5 of 6; no way Bama or anyone else will do that in this conference now.

As for anyone saying "wait, Bama won the BCS game last year", LSU beat Bama in the regular season and won the SEC title outright. I'd say that eliminates any concept of Alabama dominance last season. They were coequals who won the bigger game.
