What other LB this year can say their was performance was 16 tackles whether solo or assisted? They count for everyone else so they should count for D. White. Nobody gives a sht if the entire Rant played football. Doesn't mean you don't know football.
You see, the funny thing about filling holes is the DLine helps create them. Well, the DLine D. White played with this year had it's best players hurt much of the season. Can't tell me that doesn't make a difference. Clemson Dline and Devin White and he's over 150 tackles at the rate he was going.

Is there a recorded stat that supports this? I'm not saying its not true, but where is the proof that everyone seems to accept as fact? So White had more tackles & TFL, but most of his tackles were further downfield?

I don't why people are making a big deal that Smith played in the SEC title game which is why he was named POY. Patrick Peterson, Erik Berry just to name a few didn't play in the SECCG and won POY. White's body of work was overall better imo. Yeah smith had a bunch of solo tackles, White had 127 altogether, only 2 fewer sacks, defended the pass better and an INT to smith's zero. If the Smith was that much better than White, than why didn't he win the SEC Player more often? White broke the record at 4. An All-SEC player is doing good to win it just once or maybe twice.

Listen, everyone knows the kid is talented and can play, but a lil constructive criticism never hurt anyone except maybe you guys cause you seem awfully hurt over this shite. Lol
