with the way LF was running through Auburn Saturday, I don't see how anyone could say that we should have passed more

No arguments.....but AT SOME POINT, we will have to throw more. Hopefully we will be ready.

Keep in mind that most big schools have played cream puffs. Dunno how you didnt factor that in

This board needs more devil's advocate, but you're pulling from one season versus two games.

Right. And two games against SEC West teams. We look much more capable right now than we did almost all of last year.

Wut? This place is a cesspool of negativity. The last thing it needs is more people complaining after wins.

I love how there has to be a guy who posts "devil's advocate" garbage after a great win. Just once I wish everyone would keep their garbage disposals shut and enjoy it.

Like all the other stats, missing McNeese has everything out of whack right now. Looking at their games, McNeese only threw for 185 yards against Immaculate Word( ) and 139 against Stephen F. Austin. If you give them 100 against us, our ypg average drops to 176, which would have us about 35-38 in the country. Still not exactly what we're used to, but probably a bit more representative of what we're doing and can do going forward.

we need more interceptions

This is harder than you'd think with our dbs. You can tell the offenses we've played are scared of our dbs, so they take less risks going deep. It's hard to get picks when the other team will only throw short underneath routes.

Got me dead wrong brah, I am pretty much definition of a sunshine pumper
Trying to keep a levelheaded fan base here; Sportscenter and College Football Final were glorious Saturday night.
Time to come back down to reality, like I said, team has work to do, With McNeese under our belt I think we'd be humming along looking even more dominating than we do now. Now we need to develop a passing game, and there can really be no argument there. Fournette needs help.

Around here, negativity is the norm. People visit just to bitch and pump other people's brakes. So I meant "devil's advocate" in a positive way. It's usually the only hope to have anyone listen to you when they have stubborn opinions. You play devil's advocate to show you understand their opinion and then present yours with a different point if view.

You do realize they played two SEC opponents while most other teams played at least two patsies?

Is that your task in life?

Running game is fine. Passing game is doing okay without taking too many risks. Passing stats, and offensive stats in general, would be a lot better if it weren't for penalties in the State game and Harris' overthrows in both games. Plus, Dupre and maybe others have had a couple drops on some tough passes.

Passing game is on the cusp of being a lot better, but it has been accurate and efficient enough to give an idea of what's to come.

How about stats from AU/MSST 2014 VS AU/MSST 2015? I'd bet they look a lot better this year......especially with a W following in 2015

You're forgetting just how shitty Wisconsin's passing game was last year.

this concerns me a bit.....Dak made it look easy.

He is undoubtedly the best QB LSU will face in the regular season.

vibes to Syracuse's starting QB who was knocked out their game this past Saturday, I have not checked to see who is starting but LSU could potentially be going up against a backup. Now I know that means that LSU wont have any film on this guy, but usually, unless you are talking about LSU, the backup is the back up because he is not better than the starter.

Eastern Michigan won its first non-conference road game in 27 years (!!).

by the time LSU goes to play its next SEC opponent, I expect those numbers to look a little different.

Same goes for LSUs passing offense. I expect LSU to really work on finetuning the passing game in two games against considerably less talented competition.

I'm with you brah (or is it braw?).
There is no excuse for LSU being anything less than 1st in in every category. We have the best athletes in the country, the best facilities in the country, the best fans in the country, and the best stadium in the country.
There is only one reason that we aren't number 1 in every category.
The coaching staff.
Fire them all I say.
Am I doing that right?

Wow, sensitive bunch, I pretty much just showed you stats, wasn't much opinion in there. I am a positive die hard fan looking forward to rest of season,

Looks like I did get a couple of your panties in a wad on a Monday, it's all good people, Lunch with Les will be on in a few and he'll be very jolly today
