been watching LSU football since 1963

listened with my dad on radio before that

I am just enjoying the feeling this might turn

out to be the best Tiger team in history

don't bother me now with facts - just leave me alone

If you compare the stats of 2014 AU & MSU games with the stats of the 2015 AU & MSU games you should feel better.

It's brah if you're from Kenner, but many different interpretations for sure

Am I doing that right?

Nah, I love our coaching staff, Les makes some of best hires in the country, never have said otherwise, but that was quite a leap you made there

LSU through its first two FBS P5 opponent's Last year and their rankings (as compared to this year so far):

Offense
Total Off (82nd)
Rush Off (119) - One of the worst
Pass Off (34) - Mostly Brandon Harris' last 1/3 qrt vs MSU.
Sacks allowed (111)

Defensively
Total Def (101)
Rush Def (127) - 2nd worst in FBS
Sacks per game (101) - 19 total last year with 8 coming against SHSU

Turnover Margin
(23rd)

So yeah, I'd say LSU while still having some kinks to iron out is pretty solid right now.

I'd rather 68th passing and 36th overall instead of 101st Total and 127th against the run in our first two games.

Thanks for that.

I think I know what you are trying to do but there are just too damn many Big But's in the LSU fanbase.
No matter what good thing happens to LSU football there will be a chorus of, "yes, but................"
"LF ran for a lot of yards. Yes but....................
"LSU beat MSU. Yes. But..............."
"LSU destroyed Auburn. Yes but......................"
I guess it is cultural because it seems that too many of you can't enjoy the moment.
And if you look around that Big But attitude spills over into the political and civic arenas. Admittedly not a topic for this board.

Disclosure: I didn't invent the Big But term.

I hear you, believe me, we're on the same page, I am enjoying the moment, that's just it. I love every single game and how much we develop game to game. This team can be very special, we're just not there yet, and that's all the post said.

I am very fired up to see what season brings. The most exciting thing about it is that he's finally playing the QB that has the ability to take us to the promised land and stick around for awhile too. I thought talking about LSU football and the Tiger Rant was enjoying the ride! I avoid this board like the fricking Plague for about a week after a damn loss.

Good discussion,
