There are players that have grabbed hold of greatness early in their careers and became LSU legends by maintaining and improving over years in the purple and gold.
Kevin Faulk, Josh Reed, Bradie James, Marcus Spears, Michael Clayton, Glenn Dorsey, Patrick Peterson, Tyrann Mathieu, Leonard Fournette, Devin White, Joe Burrow
Im sure I’m forgetting one or three, but that’s pretty much my short list of the legends in the modern era that we saw greatness from right away and they went on to outperform even our wildest expectations.
Deuce Geralds could be the next to take a seat at that iconic table.
Love everything about the way this guy plays and he has risen to the occasion just months after stepping onto campus from high school.
Can’t wait to see how he continues to grow and represent LSU for years to come both in BR and in the NFL

It’s so nice to see a freshman from our high school recruiting class pop on the screen regularly, especially in this day and age. He’s gonna be paid this offseason

Once he made the full time switch to WR in 2000 it was full speed ahead.
Plus he’s good people so he’s forever GOAT for those of us from that era

Neither did Burrow. Our entire offense was average in 2018, especially our receivers. The summer of 10,000 catches, and bringing in the Joe Brady offense happened, and Joe B. became the best college football has ever seen.
