My biggest what if...
We were loaded on offense in 08. Cut down on turnovers/ pick sixes and who knows.

Don’t get injured at LSU or the fans will label you a POS quitter

The point is most fathers wouldn't want/crave that attention. He didn't have any real insight. "Yeah Derek is ready for revenge against Devonta Smith" followed by a standing ovation from everyone in Jody's basement.

This time last year you guys spent the whole season and offseason bashing Chase. The hate even spilled over into the NFL preseason when he dropped a few passes. Now he's playing like a Top 5 WR in NFL. Stop supporting guys when its convenient for your fandom and learn how to support former players at all times. When will you guys realize that NFL does not give a shite about guys shutting it down, opting out, or whatever BS narrative fans try to create. These guys have to be in the best shape possible when its time to see NFL team doctors for the pre-draft evaluations.
Number of College games played:
Stingley: 25
Chase: 24

Nope. It just comes across clear as day in your post.
You gonna answer my question?

According to this place Stingley Quit before the 2020 season then at the end of the 2020 season then 3 games into the 2021 season.
They made up their mind about him before he missed a snap.
If he wanted to quit there is no reason to play the CMU and McNeese St games. They didn’t do anything for his draft stock and it was clear the season was going south after the opener.
Kid didn’t quit.

Yeah...CEH has probably been mailing it in for the Chiefs since he got there too.
It never ceases to amaze me how fans think they know stuff. Ever heard of the phrase "assume positive intent"?

Good luck to him. Hopefully he can stay healthy and avoid "injuries" in the NFL. They tend to look down upon quitting and not fighting back.

Chase, Shelvin, Marshall and whoever else opted out did quit. No other way to see it. Maybe it was in the best interest of the player, but they QUIT the team.

Why would the fathers have a (2) weekly platform to begin with?
Because the local radio guys let him.

Here’s the thing.. it seems like people are forgetting that Derek Stingley Sr. and Derek Stingley Jr. are two different people. It’s OK to disagree with his dad’s actions without holding them against Stingley Jr.
It’s like people just assume that he has full control over his father’s statements. If anything, I would bet it’s the exact opposite.

you cant talk facts about stingley or his dad will make him quit
It is wild how sensitive we have to be when talking about players. I don't agree with criticizing college athletes, but I also don't agree with their families getting emotional over anything someone online says.

Plus the little crybaby posters will be along to tell you how great he is and how lucky LSU was to have him.

I am thankful he came to LSU and I wish him nothing but the best at the next level.

I am thinking Perilloux in recent history and then Sheppard.

If we had a balanced attack, Fournette is a Heisman finalist. He's a Super bowl champ now, so it all worked out.

He’s gonna be great at the pro level,
I dont see how in the world you guys can make this assumption
You have to be mentally and physically TOUGH to survive in the NFL. He has shown neither
He has the ability, and I sure hope he can put it back together and thrive.
Hes about as disappointing of a Tiger that I've ever seen after 1 year.
