Notre Dame currently has a better recruiting class than LSU. The narrative that ND can't get high level recruits is overplayed.

JD made Denbrock some $$$

If you look at some big fourth downs we had this year there was some awful play calling. He was helped a lot by the talent, which will still be here. We will survive

Promote Joe Sloan to OC.

Would be fine with this (mostly to watch morons melt about the horror of promoting from within as if no other top programs ever do this)

Just hope the next guy doesn’t wig out in short yardage. Always my one gripe with Denbrock

This is a horrible look for LSU. Do you think Bama would lead the nation in offense, win the Heisman...and then lose their coordinator to ND? Starting to think this whole Kelly hire is gonna blow up on our face. We wanted Freeman as a DC, went to ND. We wanted Rees to come with Kelly, he stayed at ND and then on to Bama. And now this...smh

His hometown is 2 hours away from South Bend. It’s actually not that difficult to understand

So they’re giving us $2MM? Sounds like they gave us house’s buyout.

Win win

And please for the love of God, can we stop with the Denbrock sucks, or we didn't want him anyway. It's making us look like a bunch of Cucks. ND just pulled the best OC in the country right out of our Livingroom.

There has to be an under the table agreement that he will be HC in short order, or this move makes absolutely no sense.

Coaching turnover is not a “good thing” but we probably got him at his best

One of the major criticisms of his hiring was that he has run the same simple (unexceptional) offense forever and would never remain ahead of the curve vs SEC coaches in the long-run

He doesn’t deserve hate for being a Midwest guy wanting to get out of the south, but we were destined to be frustrated with him going forward

He doesn't want to be a HC. The bottom line is with NIL and the landscape of college football. It's all about the money, and as bad as we don't want to admit it. ND is a much bigger brand. They are national brand, we are reginal. Things better change or we are in trouble.

Yep, the cope is so predictable

Regardless, next season's offense will take a step back without JD & the WRs, and it will be blamed on Denbrock leaving.
