At that time he didn’t have an offer from ND. And he also would have stayed at lsu if his extension had been finalized

Because ND had already offered him by that time and he knew he wanted the ND job to be closer to home. Thats why he didn’t sign it.

Well, in the poster's defense, I don't think Denbrock would have told him if he was looking for another job. I wish him the best and thank him for a job well done! He left it better than he found it and that's all I can ask.
