According to Josh Pate there was a stretch of the game Saturday of 11 plays where the LSU defense allowed 0 or negative yards. So the equivalent of 3 series with no positive plays.

State had a 12 yard gain on the 1st play of the game and at some point near the midway point of the 2nd quarter had 7 total yards.

Josh Pate is good at breaking down the film.

And 55% of the scoreboard had given up after this play.

Half of their total yards was that one long end-around run in the 3rd quarter and the last drive against back-ups...

And the one big play they did get at the end of the first half was aided by one of the worst no calls on holding I’ve ever seen.

LSUs DB damn near had his Jersey ripped off right in front of the official but he didn’t call it

Was a perfect storm of the defense playing well and Mississippi State's offense being completely incompetent due to their Head Coaches stupid philosophy change.

That's incredible no matter who you're playing.
