$2.1 million, and this is what Pelini delivers?

Can’t win games giving up 623 yds through the air!

TOTALLY AGREE!! How do expect a qb in his first start ever to overcome a record breaking performance by his opponent. A record that is almost 30 years old! Bo better get his act together quick!!

Except the defense gave the offense plenty of opportunities to win the game. They sucked, but Myles sucked worse.

Idk they threw it every play with a ton of possessions. Our d forced 4 turnovers, that should have been enough to win.

Plenty! I’m sure they team will see there weren’t “Plenty” when they break down the film! D was really bad!

Dealing with Mike Leach and his unique offense was a bad draw for our first game, also with an extremely thin secondary

Both can be true..Defense sucked on 3rd down and our QB looked like an 18 yr old who arrived on campus in August

Only 2 of those turnovers helped the offense. The one which the scored on and the one that occurred in Miss State territory. The others ended drives in LSU territory. The defense was bad all game, while the offense played well in the 2nd half. The defense would’ve been atrocious without the turnovers.

Well someone posted earlier that LSU has not lost since 1970 when creating 4 turnovers or more until yesterday
Defense was terrible but so was Oline, Brennan, and playcalling

Uh, the game was tied multiple times. We had multiple chances to extend drives and score. We all know what can happen to a D when the O cannot sustain drives.

I honestly think the failure to establish a running game lost the game. 80 yards on the ground isn't going to cut it. Our RB's are supposed to be our strength on offense this year. Our secondary was depleted and you're up against the Air Raid offense. The goal is to keep them off the field and control the clock.

NEWSFLASH: It was God-awful, atrocious and Curley Hallman, Lou Tepper historically bad even WITH the four turnovers.

Exactly. We have to do more than just straight runs up the middle.

No doubt! Not trying any other coverages to try and protect our overmatched secondary is what puzzles the hell out of me. They were playing hard but just overmatched! I need to hear some reasons from Pelini before I’ll understand.

Pelini couldn’t even compete with Leach’s offense The sad thing is that LSU has a ton of young talented players, especially Eli Ricks with that interception—but Pelini didn’t know how to utilize them! Hopefully, Stingley being back next week helps the team win a game.

When Pelini watches the film today and this whole week, he will see just how much work he needs to do! He needs to start over! He has made a mess of things! Would last year’s defense allow that many yards?

Tepoer never gave up 623 yards passing.

Horrible scheme by Pelini and refused to make adjustments.

From what I have seen Hallman never gave up 600+ yards.

Stingley will shut down his side of the field. Flott should be adequate at nickel. The key will be getting Ricks to come along quickly because teams will be trying to pick on him. Ward and Evans have no business playing at this point.
