Do you realize how bad they have been this season for you to act like that was a good defensive performance? We have a juggernaut offense. They don’t need to be great. They just need to be close to the ball, know their assignments for fricks sake, and play with enthusiasm. They only need to be decent. They have been dogshit and they need to hear it. This is not a participation trophy league. They are absolutely capable of being as good as they need to be to win games. The defense owns 2 losses. Have a little pride and get better.

I was at the game and most of the LSU fans around me half expected Missouri to pick up the first on the 4th and 32...lol!
I would not say it looked totally legit but the had more stops against Missouri than previously.

The haven’t looked legit outside of a very brief period early in the FSU game and vs a bad State team.
I’ll say they did look average with flashes of better up front. They were still below average at best in the secondary based on giving up that awful go-ahead drive to Mizzou in the 4th, but they were better in that 2nd half.
With our offense, more effort, better tackling and average defense with some impact plays will win most of the remaining games, and could possibly win them all.

A resounding NO. We didn't lose the game thanks to Dan'l's heroics, and Missouri mistakes. But this defense is not suitable in mixed company.

No they didn’t - not in the second half.
The answer is yes. They looked like a solid SEC defense in the second half - not great, but adequate. If they can play like that the rest of the season we can go undefeated. But one half of decent defense does not make me optimistic that they will play that way.

No. They made a play at the end of the game that overshadowed everything else. Auburn ranks 14th in offense in the conference. Let's see if we make them look like the 14th ranked offensive team in the conference. I'm thinking we don't.
