What I meant when I said LSU was currently in, was that before the tournament started they were in.
What makes you think they are automatically out with a loss today though? And what makes you think even with a win they aren't in?

Historical treatment of a .500 SEC team with a poor RPI, poor OOC SOS. With a loss, that puts LSU "below .500" in the SEC which is really the only thing it has going for it on its resume.

Glad to do it. I love baseball season. Not going to lie, keeping up with it knowing LSU would have a tough time making it was not something I was looking forward to. Glad I will be able to stay totally locked in now. Can't wait for baseball all day tomorrow again.

South Alabama snuck into the top 50. With the win tonight LSU is 14-15 against Group 1 teams.

That could be a good and a bad thing. Although I think the Sunbelt will be a 2 bid league. We just as well route for South Alabama along with Coastal to be those two.

Just made some updates. There are a few more conference tournaments we need to pay attention to. I had some as one bid leagues, when they shouldn't have been. Some conferences such as Southland, Ohio Valley, Colonial could have a possible team as an at large, even if they do not win their conference tourney.
Now the one bid conferences listed should truly be one bids, meaning no matter who wins the conference tourney no other conference team will get in.

I don't think I would say guarantee just yet, but it sure helps. I would agree that LSU played themselves in IF nearly every other conference tourney holds serve. However, if we see 5-6 bid stealers throughout the week it may leave no room for LSU even after last nights win.

I feel much better about our situation after last night. Win one more game this week and I'd say we have a bid locked up.
