Yeah. There is absolutely zero doubt at this point. RPI is at 34, which isn't great but its not going to make us miss the tournament. Also have 16 group 1 wins now, which ties for the most among bubble teams. LSU is not even on the bubble any more.

Most important stat. I’m extremely curious to see where we get sent. Team is playing well in the tournament so I don’t think they send us to a blue blood regional. I think it would be cool to send us to the northeast if UCONN gets a regional to give that regional some name recognition. If I was the committee I would definitely use LSU’s name recognition to draw attention to a lesser regional site.

Big 12-5 in (could go to 7) ACC-6 in (Pitt is still alive) PAC 12-4 in Big 10-4 in with Illinois still alive American-4 in with UCF on the bubble SEC-10 in There are 25 other conference bids That is 57 total plus Troy, Jacksonville St, FAU, and maybe DBU. I think there are teams that still have work to do, but now they may hurt each other (for example WVU vs. TCU). It is still a tight field, but I think we've pushed ourselves up in the pecking order. If the committee wants 9 SEC teams, I think it is a legitimate discussion to weigh MSU vs. Vandy vs. LSU vs. USC and how much weight does regular season wins count vs. tourney vs. RPI.
D1 baseball latest projection has Kentucky in the last 5 and LSU ahead of Vandy and MSU in SEC rankings.
But we are in no doubt. With 18 SEC wins now we are good!

Potential bid stealer Pitt just died.

Is the UCONN regional going to be held at Fenway? I heard someone mention that but I don’t know how much validity there is to that.

No clue. Do they still announce regional locations tonight?

Yes, I believe UCONN put their bid in to host at Fenway.
Did anyone see D1 baseball’s updated projections?

That settles it. I guess it was just a discussion when they listed it at Fenway a few weeks ago.

I'm glad that we can sit back and enjoy seeing what the committee chooses to emphasize without those metrics effecting our fate.

LSU finished with an RPI of 34.
