The Tiger Band played Neck at least four times,

Did they actually play the Cameo song or was it one of the 4 or 5 other tunes that people chant that to anyway?

Good question. Haha I didn’t realize that people would chant those words to any old song, but that STTDB was definitely on repeat.

And I was able to sit next to former LSU and Cincy Bengals linebacker Bo Harris (from the early 70’s) and his wife Amy(who was super nice and can scream LOUD). It was awesome!

great way to put it. That game was insane and rushing the field just felt like a celebration of the outcome regardless who we were playing. That ending in regulation and OT was spectacular.

Me and my buds still have recent grad tickets and I was at the game last night in the student section. Lots of STTDBing and yelling. I was hoarse last night after the game. It seemed like there were more people on the field than ever before last night. I was a student when we rushed the field against Ole Miss in 2014 too and I do not remember the entire student section emptying out onto the field. I was stuck on the field for a good 15 minutes last night. I couldn’t move

Here is one someone posted, def not to the right song

My son pointed this out to me several years ago. They started doing that when he was a student and they made the band stop playing neck so often.

He graduated in the December 2021

Take the stick out of your arse

Seriously

You sound like a grumpy boomer

You all complain about students leaving students not coming to the game TS losing its luster

It's 2024. Most people who say Billy Canon's TD run are in their graves.

You have to produce a product that the demographic wants to consume.

Rap music. LED lights. More of a party atmosphere. A nail biting overtime win against probably our most bitter storied rival.

And yes even rushing the field.

It's FUN.

We are supposed to have FUN.

This was one of the best weekends of college football ever. This was one of the best games in TS ever.

Get off your high horse and go frick yourself.

Ole Miss had 0 chance once that game went to OT.

The crazy thing is you knew he wasn’t going to pull a 2022 Bama move because our defense was playing so well.

I bet if they had been scoring at will all night, he may have gone for 2.

We held them to 23 fricking points… insane. I thought they were going to drop 60 on us.

absolutely! That was not an easy game to watch as an LSU fan in case anybody has only watched the highlights of the last minute. Compared to how we played offensively all night, it's somewhat of a miracle that game ended the way it did.

My son's friends were watching at The Chimes on the rooftop patio and he said they heard the cheer from the stadium before the last play. Said it was a very long cheer.

And it was Homecoming to boot!

I agree with Lloyd. Never ever give Ole Miss that respect.

Maybe the good old days are back! That's the Tiger Stadium that makes it the best and the hardest on opposing teams!

The camera on tv would blur out at times from the loudness… the first 2 minutes of the game and then the end of the fourth and OT seemed wild from tv perspective

Neck was not and has not been played in TS in years. The students just start STTDB chants to other songs now. Might as well play Neck.

Exactly, I know Neck and they didn't play Neck.

They may as well play it, but they won't. Sigh
