Are you speaking from personal experience?
It pisses me off that I fly all the way across the country to the games and everybody around me is gone in the third quarter.

Last night was a total shame of of what 2025 tiger stadium has become in the second half.

That's not the only reason folks leave.
The crowd tried to get into the game several times last night, only for the offense to shite the bed over and over.
I was at the game, first time back in a couple years. The fans desperately want this team to play at their potential, but low iq QB play and the TO's ruined the excitement that was in the air. The fans are fatigued and tired of the appropriate coaching response to players that are a liability not being dealt with.

It looked really bad from my recliner! What’s wrong with you people?!?!

It’s a lot of factors. I had south end zone season tickets for 21 years. I sat amongst everyone I knew for 18 years. Then there were new/different people around me every game. I realized they were corporate owned seats and the customers were going to the games. They didn’t care about LSU at all. So I sold my tickets the last 2 years and watched at the tailgate, until LSU pushed our tailgate off campus as well. It’s the Corporatization of college football. And I am a business owner. It’s just all about the money and not the same Gameday experience. So I left, gave up my tickets. It’s all on TV now and LSU can make their money as they see fit to pay for it all. But damn, I miss the good ole days and those tailgates.

The games are horrible to watch in person between the tv timeouts and a bad product on the field.

Remind us....did fans leave the games in 2019, even when we were up by several TDs? Fans stay for excellence, not incompetence

Stayed the whole game, got in our car and left around 10:45.
Literally did not move for a solid 40 minutes, got home at 1 AM.
I understand completely why people leave early.

you look at the end zones where the real fans are you will see that they are full the whole.
Yeah the south endzone always looks very full the whole game. Very impressive

This is a result of pricing out real fans in favor of rich donors and sponsors there to be seen or for business marketing.
You are absolutely right. If you’re rich it’s not as special to you as someone middle class. If you’re not rich going to a game is the highlight of your year and you will stay to enjoy it for the entire game. The prices are very high now .

Did not notice a large exodus. Some yeah.. walking out was very crowded and streets were shoulder to shoulder around the hill..
I leave after the team goes into tunnel.

The commercial breaks are out of control. Makes the games super long. I still stay to the end but I don’t begrudge others that don’t.

Weak, fat, lazy, indifferent. So lazy that they cannot even sit in one place and cheer for three hours. That's the real answer. The crowds of yesteryear were tougher, more passionate about the team, and had attention spans greater than a sleepy toddler.
LSU Athletic Department "Delicate Genius" sponsored declination of Tiger Stadium atmosphere.
* The Corporate Season Ticket Give-a-Way crowd.
* The Newbie crowd.
* The "See & be Seen/Wine & Cheese" Attention Whore crowd.
* The casual "It's something to do on a Saturday Night" crowd.
ALL becoming more predominant and none of them have any real interest in the Football Program and/or connection to the University.

The biggest pussies walking the Earth leave at the half for “traffic”. The damn Superdome traffic is a mutha fricka, but the Dome hasn’t been clearing out at halftime for over a decade like Tiger Stadium has. frick you bitches.

Not going to lie getting home at 3 am from a game really sucks. Makes me kind of dread night time games. Almost better to just get a hotel, but then your whole Sunday is ruined.
Bro come on, I stayed until the field goal at the end and was home in Lafayette before midnight.

So true. TN up big on AR in 4th and stadium still packed. It seems Death Valley gets worse each year with the early departures. Can’t be just traffic?

It will be LIT in two weeks if we take care of business in Nashville!

Can they just allow people in when fans leave? You scan your ticket when you leave. People that want to go in for the end claim those seats.
You could charge 5 bucks a seat at that point and all proceeds fund us an lineman that is mean
And stadium stays full

I left at halftime. So. I had my grandbaby there and we had to leave. I paid for my season tickets. I can leave or not if I want. Get over it. Stay if you want but don’t trash on anyone else for leaving. We all have our reasons.
