LSU is still in good shape to make the playoffs. It won’t be easy, but don’t give up just yet. Not sunshine pumping, just being realistic. I’m still going with 9-3 after last week though, but the Tigers aren’t out.

You are such a hypocrite lol

You tell people not to be negative and that the Tigers can still make the playoffs. Duh!

Then… say: I’m still going with 9-3 after last week. Which means they won’t make the playoffs. lol

You can’t make this shite up.

The pre-season prognosticators had us as a top 10 team in just about every poll. They also had Clemson in the top five.

They also have proven examples every year of getting it wrong.

For the non-Georgia / Ohio State / Oregon fans, it sets the bar for a minimum level of over-exuberant expectations by most of us.

Injuries, restricted playing time (targeting / breaking team rules), mental mistakes by players and their coaches (on "the field"), improper assessment of individual motivation / head games / distractions, and lack of synergy / chemistry / realized confidence (in the many different position rooms) never seem to be factored into these "expert" projections.

Call it bad luck or bad Karma (if you will), but this Tiger team has seen far too many of those matters pop up at the wrong time so far this season.

Have you bothered to watch the offense? Nussmeier looks injured.

We are 4-1. You aren't very good at math. Project all you want, but currently we are a contender. At the end of the year, you are what your record says you are.

you are not good at watching games and separating performance from results and thinking these performances will keep these results up!

I’m still holding out a sliver of hope that our offense will go from garbage to average and that our defense can make some plays to win some 1-score games

Gotta win the next 3, then win 1 of the 2 road games at Bama/OU. It’s do-able. Gonna need the defense to be strong

It’s a culture problem! Prior to Saban, LSU was a 8-4, 9-3 team that was a tough win for elite programs. Then Saban changed the culture and flipped the script, making LSU an elite program that other teams feared. That culture, as most do has eroded and we’re back to 9-3, 8-4 LSU. No one fears LSU anymore and Brian freaking Kelly ain’t the one to change it. LSU needs another stone cold killer that demands excellence in every aspect of the program. Some one that will change the culture to what it was 20 years ago!

Not a culture problem....Brian Kelly needs to hire and offensive coordinator and let him coach the offense and let his ego go. See Blake baker

Sorry if I don't panic enough for you. There are plenty of concerns, but experience has taught me to let the season play out. Experience seems to have taught you to panic. Nuss has played poorly. We think he is injured. If he returns to last year's level, we will be in the playoff hunt at the end of the year. There are other concerns, but show me the 12 other teams in the nation without issues. We are currently a contender at 4-1, and ranked #11 in the AP. I'll go by results over social media opinions to gauge my team.

While I do share the sentiment that this team (specifically the offense) hasn't shown that it can handle its end of the bargin, im not gonna say it cannot improve as we go along...at least not yet. This offensive line can gel, Nussmeier can get healthy if that is even a thing him being hurt. Teams get hot, but they can't afford to just be losing games waiting for it to happen. This aint the NFL.

2021 the first 5 games our running game sucked. Jack Marruci, who was not even a football coach told Orgeron what theproblen was with the running game. Luckily they listened and we rushed for 297 yds against FL. So it can happen. Question is will it?

It hasn't been the case so far. This has been an issue for a few years now (minus the Jayden Daniels time, he masked the deficiencies LSU has running the ball with backs). Does BK have someone who can step in and help with the scheme? Man i hope so because this is ongoing and ridiculous at this point.

you are beating your head against a brick wall trying to change minds here. They quit on this team since the La Tech game. Conclusion; they are quitters.

No. Logical fans saw the offensive woes vs. La. Tech. They saw those same issues grow worse vs. Florida. Then they saw them lead to a loss vs. Ole Miss. Those fans haven't "quit" being fans. But they are skeptical of LSU's success going forward given we have yet to see LSU do anything to address their offensive woes...despite it being a season long problem. That's not an unreasonable position to hold based upon the current realities.

Can't be logical with people who are illogical and you are illogical. You see what you see and I see the opposite. Not in the mood to reason with someone who is unreasonable. My opinion is set in stone.

I agree but it’s still a culture issue with BK. Baker is a stone cold killer at D Coordinator and more than likely has over ridden Beta Kelly’s ability to taint the D with his cuck like personality!

Trust your eyes not the BK post game BS. If you think like BK that one long run at the end of a long game is enough run for this season then we simply can’t agree. If you like to see a well coordinated qb run with a designated blocker like ole miss ran then you better hire another coordinator or head coach because so far all we have is a preseason promise to see Nuss run more. My eyes haven’t seen any routes or passes that look rehearsed. Looks like Nuss is trying to wave them to stop in zone for a pass. The whole offense and play calling looks as bad as I can ever recall at LSU and I’ve been watching since the 1960s.
