OH MY GOD… CLEMSON DUDE… PENN STATE

Your question was who the favorites would be. I agree with you on Penn State, but you will be able to get much better odds on LSU than Clemson. Preseason, they would also be a TD favorite against us on a neutral field. Now, they may shite the bed again, but they will be ranked/favored over us to open the season.

I think we will have to be top 3 at least. Returning our most valuable players and appeared in the SEC championship in a “rebuild” year.
If we aren’t the favorites then I’m damn sure we will be similar in odds.
Next year is gonna be really fun.

everyone on here has an opinion. bravo.

no one expected the Tigers to have such a good performance under new head coach Brian Kelly.

no one knows where the Tigers will be at the end of next season.

let's hope we improve next season and make the playoffs.

let's ride

I wouldn’t say we are favorites to win a national title, but we certainly have a favorable schedule, and we have the talent to be favored in pretty much every game going into next season, and we should be favored by a lot of people to win the west.

With the amount of key contributors we have returning, it’s absolutely not unreasonable to think we could contend for a national title next year.

Sounds good but, in reality I hope we can push for Top Ten finish and New Year’s Six Bowl, we’ll be a better team. Improvement on the field definitely but come on we’ve only finished in Top 3 five times in 40yrs. We were miles ahead of where we were the previous 2 seasons but surely not one of the top 3 teams in the country. It’s hard to get there and even harder to stay.

No. We have depth issues at specific position groups. We don't know what we have at RB, LB is in a rebuild outside of one player, Dline is a question mark on the two deep. CBK is building this thing and did a great job but we are not there yet.

Why would a 5 loss team be a favorite?

New QB’s don’t dictate any team falling; they could be better with new QB. Alabama always seems to come up with exceptional QB’s. They are lined up.

We won’t be preseason top 10 I bet

Id be shocked if lsu wasn’t one of the top 10-12 betting favorites to win a championship

You people do not have a good feel for this at all

So, you’re agreeing with the folks who are saying “not top ten”, but you are also calling them idiots.

I think LSU is going to be firmly in the Top 10, and probably will be around #5 by the time we play Bama. If we beat Fla State (and I think we will be favored to), there's a good chance we are undefeated going into that Bama game.

It's not inconceivable that we are projected as a playoff team next season; we return the ENTIRE offense, may have All Americans on the D Line (Wingo, Smith) and linebacker (Perkins), and our safeties also return.
Bitch if you will about Kelly not winning "the big game" (I know some do), but he's also known for maximizing what his teams do, and this year was no different. This was supposed to be a rebuilding year, he won the West. They should be solid, I could see him reel off a 10 or 11 win season.
