And Etlings is better than Harris and Jennings combined.

Tigerdev just hit the nail on the head. He's spot on with that.

This is the right answer of course. But, I've heard people say too many times that if your a fan of the school that you have to support the coach. I just don't believe that. IMO, the people that wanted the former coach to stay were rooting against what was best for LSU. I want what's best for LSU. Period.

5* Felipe Franks is 0-1 and he threw for 75 yards in his opener.

Yeah, and Hayden Rettig and Anthony Jennings were both ranked higher than him in that same class and didn't do shite. What's your point?

I've heard people use both as an excuse to irrationally support or denigrate a coach.

I was not elated when we fired Miles or hired O but I see the logic of replacing Miles and I hope O succeeds beyond anyone's expectation. I am a little concerned that O may be too dependent on having elite coordinators but I am hopeful and like what I've seen outside of the penalty issues.

Brandon Harris and Anthony Jennings were 4-stars as well...

Jordan Jefferson too.
And all 3 were coached by some of the worst QB coaches in NCAA history, Miles and Cameron.

Actually, Jefferson never had Cameron as a QB coach. JJ's last game at LSU was 1/12. Cameron was hired 2/13

He's awesome at throwing into triple coverage and letting his WRs get it against FCS teams. He needs to improve A TON to beat Alabama and Florida

He's thrown into double coverage one time this season he's thrown into triple coverage zero times this season. He threw 1 deep ball where the safety came over to make a play but our guy out jumped him and caught the ball. Thats 1 time out of 31 attempts he's thrown a jump ball lol. Pre Etling the complaint was we don't attack deep enough now that he's doing it yal are complaining about that too. He's thrown ZERO Ints this season has a QB rating of just under 200 and you're bitching about him. You ppl are flat out stupid!

The Miles loyalists are just desperate for the team to fail in some way so they can justify their undying love for a man who had let the game pass him by.

This is stupid. People who like Miles realize Etling was a Miles transfer recruit. They want to see Mike's players succeed, not fail.

Another reason I want to see him toss that pill around the field.
